Hotel Ishaan

I've been wanting to write a review for Ishaan Resorts for a while now. I visited Manali back in June this year with my wife and 2 year old daughter. Being a busy time, most of the hotels in Manali were either booked or overpriced. I found out about Ishaan Resorts from a friend who had been there earlier and decided to give it a shot. This was just a week before our trip and I knew I might not get a room at Ishaan Resorts at such a short notice. Nevertheless, I called them to inquire and found out that they were packed till the day of our arrival. I requested them to see if they could arrange something and gave them the reference of my friend. The representative at the hotel Mr. Krishan, I think his name was, told me that if a room becomes available he would inform me. I gave them my number and hung up. To my surprise they called me just a few hours after our chat and informed me that they had a room available for the dates that I had inquired about because of a cancellation. I was ecstatic and booked the hotel right away. The day that we arrived, we were really tired after the long bus journey. We reached the hotel and huge, spacious rooms came as a big surprise. They looked even better than the pictures they had uploaded on the website. We got a complimentary breakfast which was not part of the package and the food was delicious. Being in Manali for the very first time we had no clue about where to go and how to move around the place. Thankfully the people working at Ishaan Resorts were really helpful. They not only suggested the best places to visit and eat around Manali but also arranged for reasonable mode of transport for us each time we stepped out. We visited lots of nice places that regular tourists might not know existed and enjoyed the short time we had in Manali to the fullest. If it wasn't for these people our trip would have been just ordinary. This shows how good people and great hospitality can make a trip worthwhile.

Pros: 1)Very polite and always smiling staffs. 2) Great view from all the rooms but view from the top floors are mesmerizing. Special thanks to Mr. Varun (owner) for providing these rooms. 3) Quick room service. 4) Good food. 5) Large, airy and sunny rooms. 6) Comfy sofas. 7) Two big towels and a small towel provided. 8) Nice decor and flooring although a bit old. 9) 24 hours hot water. Both geyser and boiler system is there. 10) Two sided view of 101 is awesome. Cons: (nothing serious) 1) Food prices are on the higher side and again service tax added. 2) Coil system room heater comes with a hefty Rs.300/- per day which could be less. Only central room heating gives real comfort. These heaters are actually used to warm up hands by going near them. 3) No lift is there but the owner assured that it will be installed in near future. 4) Our room was dusty but the housekeeping immediately took care of it. 5) No restaurant but good room service. Foil packed all the food items to keep warm. Rotis were delivered in successions to give fresh and hot. Thanks to the kitchen guys. Final verdict : Staying in this Hotel made our trip most enjoyable. Will definitely stay here if I come to Manali again and would recommend anybody who are planning to come to Manali.

Ishaan resort is best in in terms of service, comfort,food,view and most important of the access from main town.the management and staff is highly skilled and hospitable. you name it and they have it . the over all structure is palatial and the rooms are real big , spacious and luxurious.every room has a balcony towards the sunny eastern side...and View spellbinds you.... with lush green mountain ranges in front capped with snow perpetually. what more can you expect in the lap of Himalayas....

We had spent 3 days in this hotel. The overall service was excellent in hotel. They welcome us well mannerly and all staff members are also very interested to provide the service to travelers. Room accommodation and food(breakfast & dinner) was the best thing to say in the ressort. If someone ask, I will surely recommend this hotel for staying.
