Air China Flights

Air China passengers can check-in online as per their convenience or directly at the airport. Air China’s self-service check-in kiosks are available for check-in for domestic, international and regional flights originating from selected cities. Special passengers including VIP passengers, injured or sick passengers, disabled passengers, injured and disabled revolutionary servicemen and policemen, pregnant women, children, unaccompanied elders and passengers with special meal requests do not qualify to use the self-service check-in kiosks.

Air China allows each First Class/Business Class passenger to carry two 2 pieces of carry-on baggage, with each weighing no more than 8 kg. Each Economy Class passenger can carry up to one piece of carry-on baggage that weighs no more than 5 kg. The linear dimensions of each piece of carry-on baggage shall not exceed 55 centimeters in length, 40 centimeters in width and 20 centimeters in height, which ensures that the carry-on baggage can be stored in the closed overhead compartment or fit under the seat in front of the onboard the aircraft. Any baggage that cannot be stored in the overhead compartment or fit under the seat, or baggage that is overweight or oversized, should be carried as checked baggage. Air China offers some really nice service onboard so the passengers won't feel bored or uncomfortable. It offers its passengers a number of in-flight magazines and newspapers, 12 music channels and 8 classic regional movies by such famous directors as John Woo and Xie Fei. The wide body jets are outfitted with the world's most state-of-the-art AVOD system which features dozens of bilingual classic movies, one hundred music CDs and a wide selection of games, keeping passengers entertained for the duration of the flight.
They also offer a variety of main courses in cuisine. For breakfast, they have tasteful appetizers and hot porridge. For dinner, they have home style meat, chicken and seafood dishes as well as rice or noodles. On short flights, they have snacks like Chinese baked cake and western sandwiches and hamburgers. They also have a good selection of yogurt and fruits for breakfast and dinner.
Their menus also include the regional flavors which vary according to routes, which means you have the opportunity to be exposed to the culinary cultures of the destinations you travel to.

Passengers must make sure that they bring with them the required valid travel document (passport and visa) and comply with the regulatory and statutory entry/exit/transit requirements of the country or region they travel to.

Air China introduced its new Airbus A330-300 to long-haul operations beginning with services to Düsseldorf, Germany in summer 2011. These aircrafts provided the same two-class cabin standard as the Airbus A330-200 except that the economy cabin had no seat-back entertainment system installed.

Air China's route network extends throughout Asia to the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America from its hubs at Beijing Capital International Airport and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. It also currently reaches a significant number of Asian, Australian and European destinations from Shanghai.
