On all AirAsia India domestic flights checked baggage is allowed as long its dimensions are within 81 cm (H) x 119 cm (W) x 119 cm (D) and 40 kgs in weight. The rate slab for pre-booked (online) checked baggage starts from Rs. 199 for upto 15 kgs of weight and it goes all the way upto Rs. 1999 for 40 kgs of pre-booked checked baggage. If baggage is checked at airport, the minimum weight of 15 kgs is charged at Rs. 300 per passenger and excess baggage is charged at Rs. 250 per kg of weight. AirAsia baggage policy is very flexible and customer focused. It only charges excess baggage fee from above 15 kgs for domestic flights and above 20 kgs for its international flights.
