Royal Air Maroc Baggage Information
Checked Baggage:
Royal Air Maroc operates on the Piece Concept for luggage allowance on all flights. The concept defines the number of items of baggage and maximum weight allowed per person, all of which varies on travel destination and booking classes.
Every adult passenger can check in either one or two pieces of baggage depending on their travel destination. The amount of permitted baggage allowance is indicated on the ticket or travel memo. To know the details log on to the official website and check out baggage allowance under the box reserved for this and coded as PC. All baggage which weigh over 32Kgs and/or exceed 203 cms should be taken to the freight service at the airport.
Carry on Baggage:
The maximum size of carry on baggage should be 115 cms and maximum weight should be 10 kgs. Passengers are allowed to carry on one such baggage. Additionally laptops are permitted and are not considered as a part of carry on or hand baggage. Medication required during the trip and valuables like laptops, mobile phones, PDAs, personal documents, identity papers, jewellery, etc. can also be carried.
Check In
It is recommended to check-in approximately 2 hours prior to all international flights and 3 hours prior to all long haul flights. The airlines also recommend to reach the airport 3 to 4 hours before the scheduled departure during peak periods. Royal Air Maroc holds the right to use the reserved seat if the check-in deadline is not met.
Check-in for all flights closes 45 or 50 minutes before departure. For all passengers who are not carrying any baggage a leniency is maintained and they can reach the airport a little late but before the departure time. It is necessary to carry all immigration and sanitary documents required for the country of destination.
