GoAir – History
Established in the year 2005 by The Wadia Group, GoAir was earlier named. Go First and was renamed later. The Wadia Group has been a known name in business and industrial sector with their ventures in textile, aviation, electronics, FMCG and more. GoAir – Baggage Policy
Following the basic protocol of baggage allowance, GoAir has also put in place some restriction on the amount of luggage a passenger can carry while travelling with them. For economy class of domestic flights, the hand baggage limit stands at 7kg per passenger. For international flights as well, a passenger can only carry up to 7kgs in hang baggage. The check-in baggage for domestic flights is 15kg and for international flights, the check-in baggage limit is capped at 32kgs per passenger. Similarly, GoAir has predefined dimensions for the baggage, like a hand baggage for domestic flights should be in limit of 55cm of length +35cm of width + 25cm of breadth, which makes for a total of 115cm. The same for the international flights is 108cm.
The airline has also specified the dimensions of the luggage for carry-in baggage, which as per the policy should not exceed 55cmX35cmX25cm, the same for check-in baggage is 158cm (62inch) in length, width and height. Women’s handbag and small laptop bags are also allowed in addition to the carry-in and check-in baggage. None of them should weight more than 3kg and 100ml liquid container is also allowed to be carried in a transparent plastic bag. For infant travel bookings only carry-in baggage is allowed weighing up to 7kgs for both domestic and international routes. Check-in baggage is not allowed for infants, but those who are travelling with infants are allowed to carry a stroller or a pram with no additional charge.
GoAir – Web Check-in Process and Documents Required

If you have made the payment for your ticket using credit card, you might be asked to show your credit card at the airport check-in counter. In case someone else has paid for your ticket through their credit card, then you will be required to carry a photo copy of their credit card of both the sides of the card for proof and identification.
The web check-in facility for GoAir is available to passengers from 72hours prior to the departure and closes 2 hours prior to the final departure. The boarding gates close 25 minutes before the departure time.

About Mysore
