I had booked my stay at Akan hotel for 4 nights through Go Ibibo. The check in process was a breeze. I was given a room of my choice as I wanted a room with a balcony and a view. the view from the balcony is good but nothing exceptional. you do get to see some greenery and tea estates at some distance. the TV was there but had cable issues for a couple of days which was irritating. after the cable issue was sorted, realised that you get to watch only free channels! the room was clean and well maintained. the washroom was good. the geyser mostly provides only luke warm water but it's manageable. parking is available, but is becomes a big hassle to remove your car if there are more than 4 cars parked in there. you can hear a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms and the rooms above. Now, coming to the positives- 1. The location of the hotel is convenient. its on the main road and is easily identifiable. It's also located close to some tourist attractions. 2. the staff here is one of the best I've seen. very very helpful and serve you with a smile. they are immediately available for any help or service that you may need at any time. they also double up guides giving you detailed insights on places to visit. one extra rating for the staff. 3. the cafe attached to the hotel is really good. don't forget to check it out. 4. the bed is comfortable. wifi service if good. Good stay. helpful staff

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 4 nights. It was calm and peaceful. What we liked - view from the balcony was really good. - furniture was good and comfortable - Parking was safe and secure - not much outside noise - friendly and supportive staff overall it was a great stay . we liked the view , location and calmness of the place. Bed was comfortable. TV was working and cartoon channels available.

Very great place to stay. Staff and hospitality is very good. One of the best stays till date. Rooms are exactly as shown in the photos. The balcony overlooks lush green land which is very soothing. No issues with travelling because the staff will help you book a car for a good price. Over-all a very good experience. When in Wayanad stay here.

Alan is a model and stylish hotel with attached cafe. Rooms are neat and clean and we'll maintained. Have good views in balcony. It's in meppadi. A door delivery restaurant is nearby from where you can get food. Calm restaurant with great balcony view. Stylish and modern hotel in a nature location

The Hotel is good. The Rooms are neat and big. There is a superb restaurant (Kudla, the Mangaluru kitchen) in the hotel building. Only thing bad about the hotel is they won't provide any toiletries. And only 1 Towel per room. Blankets are small.

The rooms are the same that are displayed in the images. The rooms are decent, not great, and definitely not the same as shown in the images. But the service was great and the staff was welcoming.
