Location of the hotel is very good. Our room was the closest to the forest compared to other hotels in that area. However, you are not allowed to venture into the forest by foot (hotel staff informed the forest in front of hotel lies in core area. Though other hotel staff have taken their guest little inside forest). Forest guard will fine you around Rs 2,500 if they caught you. So it is disappointing as we have taken 1 day extra to do that only. As we were only 2 of us, we have to book (We booked it through hotel agent. May be if we had directly booked at Jeep Safari Counter we could have manage 4 other members) the whole jungle safari jeep at around Rs 2000/- (can accommodate 6 nos) as number of visitor to Gorumara is very less. I have spotted a deer, peacock in the morning while walking in front road. At night 5/6 numbers of wild boars came in front of hotel gate. Cons.: I have taken Normal water(happened only once) from the hotel but that was smelly. Maybe due to this, I had suffered health problem few days later. The person who served our food was drunk. Food in that area of Lataguri is expensive but overall good.

Hotelier doesn't accommodate my booked rooms. They shifted one resort to another and they misbehaving... Still I pay money but they refused to accept it...... What is the solution. The resort authority claim that they would not know about my booking so I have to arrange another hotel for first two days My entry details is 16.12.18 & check out date is 19.12.18 but I had booked from 14.12.18 😰

This is the 2nd time I am staying at this resort. wonderful atmosphere. nice staffs. beautiful surroundings. Spacious rooms and clean toilet. Food is very nice. pocket friendly expenditures Safe and Secure. Staffs are courteous, polite and well behaved

the worst thing, we haven't got any proper room services. the rooms are uncleaned and nasty. we had cockroaches, spiders as our friend. some kinda dust was falling from the ceiling. no action was taken, but food quality is good.

this hotel is situated at nice place. the rooms are awesome specially jungle view rooms. but the security of the main gate is little bit poor and irresponsible.
