First let's start this cons then I'll cover pros of my. 1. Hotel quality is not worth the price to be honest 2. Swimming pool is extremely small, it's like a big bath tub. Not suitable for anyone to have a swim 3. Though they claim they have wifi services but there is no wifi signal inside room. I would like to mention that there are network issues in Matheran thus wifi becomes crucial for communication 4. In my room, phone was not working. I complained twice about that but then also it was not rectified. Highly disappointed 5. There is no hot water in bathroom in evening. Timing for hot water is morning 7-10 am 6. There are no cupboards in room Pros: 1. Hotel location is nice. It's very open environment 2. Games like badminton, carrom and TT is available 3. Rooms are decent and clean 4. Hotel surrounding is very green and rejuvenating. Multiple swings are also there to sit and chill 5. Evening music is also played by hotel staff Overall - Not worth the price. I will not go here again and not recommended to other travellers.

The Location is quite long from the market, but this is the actual face value of the place Such a nice place, no modern touch, like staying at village Food quality no words to explain Staff Service superb, such a polite staff In all and all nice place to stay from city crowd one should try this hotel just for Authentic Veg. Food

I am happy with stay of Ashok Resort which famous in Matheran for his delicious pure veg food.Hotel situated near sunset point and very suitable to stay with children's. my both kids happy with swimming pool and hotels foods.Thanks GOIBIBO to make my successfully booking with Ashok Resort.

It was a good experience. Pool was closer due to covid. For the rest, there are games such as badminton, cricket, carrom, and TT. Food is decent, which you can eat. The only thing which I didn't like was that the resort was t a little long from matheran station and market as such.

hotel was good,services are excellent food was nice, but it is very very far away from matheran market,we need to walk more than a kilometer to reach hotel from matheran station and more than 1.5 km from matheran market,else everythin was nice.

the food is here is very tasty , rooms are good even though the construction is old , only factor is the resort is quite away from the visiting points and you have to walk alot , so overall good place for the people who can walk more

It's little bit far from market area.. but stay and most importantly food are awesome here.. no-one can beat their food taste in Matheran.. so tasty and similar to homemade.. strongly recommended it... For Family and Couples.. !!

Hotel is good. If you want to have forest feeling then it is perfect. Food is excellent. Take some mosquito repellant or odomos cream with you. Market is approximately 1.4 km away. I preferred to stay at this hotel.

The ambience of the hotel was very good and the staff was very cooperative. The food was excellent and request the management to maintain the same in years to come. We had a pleasent stay at the hotel.

Overall good experience, hotel is inside forest area closer to sunset point.10 min away from market area.Nice veg food lunch, dinner and breakfast. Good place to stay close to nature

it's away from station and road is not good for around 300mtrs,u have to go through garden.otherwise it's hotel service is very nice n food quality is also good..tasty

Good experience. Hotel is away from station takes 20 min walk, but good for health. good food and swimming pool for kids. many monkeys on the way.

Awesome resort little bit far from ma rket, but enjoyed stay. Nature, DJ at night, games specially 🐒 adventure. Food is too costly.
