Although the location mentioned in goibibo was incorrect but the owner i.e Mr Shatrughna Sir was there throughout our journey to find us the correct address which is near to Shakuntala Public School in front of LIC office. Superb person he is!! The day we entered inside the building I decided to give him 5star as everything was arranged in a systematic manner. But the time when we had an interaction with him and the welcome given by him was mind blowing. The day when we left the building he said if possible kindly give us comments so that we will improve the facility. But I said sir I will give you 10 out of 5. As everything is beyond expectations. Both the couple managed the building properly. Although newly constructed but up to the expectation. They are familiar to us as if we were their distant relative. They provided us with morning snacks. They did everything a family usually does for their relatives. What a hospitality provided by them. Absolutely superb!!

Superb experience! The property was mind blowing and situated near LIC head office, Rampath road, Awadhpuri, Amaniganj, Ayodhya. Ram Mandir is also visible from the terrace of homestay. The day we entered the property, we were welcomed in an excellent way, the parking facilities were also available for us, one in the front of the homestay and other beside the homestay, about 8 to 10 car can easily parked. The owner Dr Shatrughan Singh(Professor) were very much interactive with us. In the morning, tea and some snacks were provided to us. He took over everything we want during a stay, and we have a fabulous experience. Everything was beyond the expectations so I want to give him rating more than 5 stars . What a hospitality provided by them was superb !!

Pathetic experience. They argued with us when we told them to clean the toilets. Cleanliness was zero. They don't know how to run a home stay. I think they don't know the meaning of hospitality. The linens were so shabby and were stained. We booked ac rooms but we got non ac rooms. They don't have a parking space too. But it was shown that they have a parking space. It's actually a narrow road connecting other houses from the main road. Taking the car reverse was a huge task due to the drain and walls. We got our car luckily without any scratches while driving through that narrow road.I would never suggest this home stay to anyone.Pathetic

awadh royals is a home away from home. the homestay owner dr shatrughna singh ji treated and provided me like his own family members. he didn't forget to send tea and biscuits in the evening and, again, in the morning. the location is just 300 meters from the ram path. if you looking for fancy facilities this homestay isn't for you. if you are a family (i was solo) and want to stay in a comfortable, family-like ambience, this is for you. pricing wise i got my bang for the buck. amenities wise perfectly ok for the price.

Good HomeStay option. Caretaker is very humble, and helps in all the matters. He arranged tea/snacks in the morning.Anything special required can also be taken care on the best efforts basis.Location is little inside, however just 4-5 kms from Ram Mandir.They helps to get E-Rickshaw at the Homestay itself (which takes Rs 150-200 generally).Cleanliness is ok-ok, can't expect like Hotels in Homestay, but much better than other HomeStays.

Well Exceptional service and both owner and his wife is gem of a person, you must give them a chance, they very polite and humble human being, out stay at the homestay was like home away from home, they even served tea biscuit because our train was in early morning, their rooms are neat and clean, so thank you owners for your exceptional service, we will meet again for sure in our next visit, cheers!

We booked this homestay for our one day visit in Ayodhya. The place is very peaceful to stay. It is almost 3-4 kms from the temple but the owner and the staff are very helpful. They also help to arrange an E-rickshaw from the hotel to the place you want to visit. The tea they served was nice just like home. Highly recommended!!

Stay experience has been great and as a family travel and stay it was very comfortable stay. I would recommend Shatrugan Homestay as one of best homestay as they treat you like your own familg members and that make the trip unmemorable .Thanks for Being a grt host... Good Place to Stay.Host offers us the Tea 2-3 times a day .We stayed 2Nights . Rooms are on the 1st Floor No Lift.
