1. Located 3 kms before mandarmani beach 2. Connected by toto (15RS.) , trekker(15₹), reserve auto (50₹)from chawlkholi (it is nearest main road bus STOP on kolkata digha highway NH116B. 3. The property of hotel is ok large land but just average maintained. 4. STAFF- shubhankar and 2 others are nice butvlack professionalism and training of presentation and behavioral. 5. Its better to take hotel on beach road to save conveyance time. 6. Calypso also has its dedicated beach which is deeply clean due to less footfall but people mostly prefer main chandramoni beach due to water sports and shacks available there. 7. Very silent place due to inside location. 8. Just in front of 200m from (East medinipore coastal police station) gate. 9.

Roof Terrace sea view to die for, this hotel is primarily for bachelors.**However for sea view rooms, book ac rooms with balcony on top floor**Try staying in room number 101. The best room in the hotel is room number 102. Rest of the rooms are below average. Food is average. Beach is 3 mins walk from the hotel. You can enjoy beach view from terrace. For directions, this hotel is between mamdarmani coastal police station & hotel neel nirjaney. Over all a cheap & affordable hotel for bachelors.

Very good behavior. Manager behaves like a family member. He was waiting for us outside because me and wife couldn't return on time at night due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorm. Room set for Goibibo customers is absolutely wonderful. Wonderful person Mr. Jayanta Ghosh.

Basic Hotel with excellent location. Manager Mr. Jayanta Ghosh is very helpful and co-operative. Food quality is average type. Room No. 101 & 102 is sea facing with outstanding view and very windy. Hotel also allow Dog (I stayed with my 5yrs old Dachshund).

overall hotel was good, only problem the road condition is very bad from main road to the hotel, hotel need to be more decorated. behaviour of all the stuff is great, specially the owner of the hotel. beach is 2/3 minutes walking distance from hotel.

Hotel Calypso is good for group stays, seperate place can be offered by hotel for cooking of group of 10-20 person, beach is at 2 min walking distance from hotel, food is horrible, please order at your own risk.

I wasn't happy before booking because i find this hotel in the last moment which was available. Turns out it was great, nice service, good behavior, sea view, and moat important they cook yummy food.
