Where to start, this property is located right at the mall road, where the one side of mall toad road ends. Vintage property, excellently maintained and tremendous amount of hospitality is shown by each and every staff members including chefs, room service, managers, reception folks etc. They also arranged surprise anniversary cake for us. :) All sort of amenities are there except gym which i don't expect in vintage property. Ample amount of toiletries, excellent room service, big bed, spacious rooms with Jiofi TV (56 inches). Food, room size, aroma, courteous and well behaved staff, awesome view from terrace and outside hotel.

"The Best" Hotel in Shimla, I loved the location of the property and despite being an old property it is very well maintained. The best thing about the property is the hospitality that they offer and the personal touch they give with the service. May it be while serving you food or may it be while you ask for any room service you always feel delighted and welcomed. I found it a bit weird when I entered my room when I found out that there is no Air Conditioner but at some time I realized it is not at all needed as it's very cold at night. If you are going to Shimla I would say don't choose any other property go for this one.

Everything was good. Halal food was cherry on the cake. Usually you dont get halal meat in himachal. Their paranthas are amazing. I loved their shower kit with a shower cap (bigger in size from what you usually get in other hotels) and also a hair band included in it. These small things become a big differentiator from other places. They dont have a 24*7 operational restaurant. Thats the only demerit. Rest overall it was a good stay. Safety, privacy. We went their for our 4 years anniversary celebration. They made us feel special by setting up our room and also treating us with cake.

excellent hotel..it's really a grand grand heritage..the staff including hotel manager are superb and always helpful..they always greet with smile on their face..rooms are clean and well lit.location is best at mall road.. their breakfast also is superb and lot of variety especially there is guy called Subhash who packed my breakfast when I was leaving early..they also did early check-in at 1 pm for me..always recommended to stay here..price on higher side but well worth.just outside hotel there are benches where you can sit and enjoy view.. Will always stay here when I visit shimla..

Stay was Amazing. Building is very old but that is what Heritage means. right on the mall road. Best thing in this hotel is behaviour of staff. They are humble and very professional. Food prices are slightly high but you have to be ready for this if you are staying in a Five-Star. I will always like to stay in this hotel. Kudos to the girl Upasna and 2-3 other guys at the reception who made us felt very comfortable right from checkin to checkout.

For a luxury experience this is undoubtedly one of the finest property to visit. It is on the mall road having beautiful outside view. Hotel staff is very helpful and take cares of guest with lot of affection. Though the check in time is 2 pm ,but we reached hotel early around 6 in the morning, the staff was very supportive and gave us room immediately. Food is amazing and hotel staff serves you with affection .Must visit property.

wonderful hospitality, awesome services . one of the best experience , a perfect destination to stay once u r in shimla. best location, walkable distance to Mall road. Hospitality of CLARKES is something which u would remember always . have been to multiple 5 stars hotels worldwide but something is special in Clarke's . that the *Hospitality* Food quality and overall preparation is superb & awesome..... STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

It was great stay..The team is quiet helpful.. Food was awesome.. Its on mall road, thats the best part. Drawback - Stairs, but people who are used to walking should not have problem.. Also most of the hotels in mall road dont have lift. If u are in shimla you must stay at mall road as majority of places is nearby to it. So will definetly visit again..

It was a memorable stay. Beautifull views from huge windows. Huge suite with all amenities. Location is bang on mall road. Just loved the hospitality by all staff members. They were very responsive to each and every need.

Clark is from Oberoi Group - Shimla and has the best staff with amazing services Awsome treatment from the staff, personalised food by chef , wheelchair assistant , extension of stay and what not
