Coco Palms resort

Coco Palms Diveagar left us with mixed feelings, truly like two sides of a coin. Let’s start with the positives: the rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, offering a very comfortable stay. The room/housekeeping staff was friendly and cooperative, making us feel welcomed. Spending time and Sleeping in those rooms was a pleasure, thanks to comfy beds and efficient AC. Now for the negatives: the food experience was a complete nightmare. In a coastal paradise like Diveagar, where every single place and eatery, you'll get fresh seafood. But in this Coco-Palms the prawns served were literally spoiled, sticky, and stinking—absolutely unacceptable. It was disheartening to waste an entire plate of food. Even at breakfast, the canned juice was stinky, which clearly points to a severely inadequate cold storage system. This issue needs urgent attention as it’s a major lapse in hospitality standards. Adding to the frustration, the restaurant staff locked the gate by 10:30 PM and left the resort, leaving my wife, our 2.5-year-old daughter, and me stranded outside. This happened because we had to eat out after the resort served spoiled fish. Calls to the staff went unanswered, and I had no choice but to jump a 6-foot wall to get inside and find the lone security guard, who was only stationed near the owner’s cottage. The reception was locked, and no any single staff was present in entire resort. It was an incredibly unsafe and distressing experience. Verdict: The rooms are commendable and service was Good in Room, but the poor food quality, inadequate cold storage, and unprofessional handling of late-night situations make the dining experience and safety standards a major concern. Stay here if you must because room comfort was really good, but absolutely eat elsewhere. Addressing the cold storage and staff management issues should be the top priority for this resort to improve.

The scenic beauty of the resort is commendable along with service and food. Very prompt service and good food. No doubts in that. However, the issue I faced was with the cleanliness. The bedsheets were not cleaned adequately after the last customer checked out. We found hair strands and a lot of dust particles on the sheet. It was quite disgusting. The bathroom was simply mopped but not cleaned as required. Also on one occasion, when we ordered tea we found worms in the tea. This happened, because the flask used to keep the tea warm, was not at all cleaned properly at regular intervals. I found this very strange because I chose this place they all said positive things about cleanliness. nulltheless, my only request to the resort is- If you are charging such huge amounts for stay and food, pls ensure that you are living up to the standards. Except for cleanliness, I had a good experience during my stay.Good experience

The resort offers decent accommodations with clean rooms and good service, but the food quality is disappointing. The meals lacked flavor and variety, often tasting bland. Despite the pleasant ambiance, the dining experience fell short of expectations, especially for the price paid. The breakfast buffet was repetitive, and the dinner options were limited. Improved food standards would greatly enhance the overall stay. Until then, it’s an average choice for lodging but not for dining.

The location and facility were good.Couple suggestions, improve your food and the lady at reception needs to be smiling and welcoming at the very least while receiving us.
