We were celebrating 2 occasions during this trip. 1) Our honeymoon, 2) My husbands birthday. I booked a teak room with breakfast and lunch also made full payment. The following day I get a call from Karthik "supposedly the manager of the property" saying that the price for the room that I booked was incorrectly updated by him and I either had to cancel my booking or pay an additional 15k. I refuses to di either as I had already paid the amount quoted, after much tussle he then agreed to give us the room with all the amenities which was featured. After we reached the property we met someone called Madhan who said he was the owner. Madhan agreed that his manger(Karthik) messed up while updating the cost and agreed to give us the room but will not provide us with lunch and all if the other amenities as promised which was part of the package we booked. After entering the room we notices that there was no Jacuzzi in the room which was one of the main reason we booked this hotel, when asked about the same to Madhan, he said that's all you get you can stay if you want or leave, he speak to us like a goon and at the point we really felt unsecure, threatened and cornered. Our honeymoon and my husbands birthday was spoil for no fault if ours. We spoke to Parul who escalated the issue to her supervisor Kushboo Bhatnagar, she promised us a call back with a resolution several days ago but haven't heard anything from anyone yet. They did not even gave us basic things like water to drink or even handwash in the bathrooms.

Nice stay. Average food, but good coffee, just 5 km from Madikeri town. Kids play area available. Friendly staff. Nice location. The best part. Why i give 3 star's. They charged for welcome drink, they served😄. Asked "Sir welcome drink- coffee or juice. I said coffee". They served at their restaurant. Next day while Checkout they charged for all coffee we had as welcome drink🙄. Its not good to ask about it and we just paid without saying anything. Small amt, just Rs.40 per coffee i think. See amount is not a matter, but didn't understood, why they charged for welcome drink 😜. That's their custom may be. Any way, we liked the stay👍.

Best and worth for money resort to have a peaceful stay. I had only one day stay at this resort. The place is very close to madikeri city so thats a plus point. Rooms and outdoor area are very clean and hygiene, beautiful garden and sit outs. Staffs are very polite and sensible. Food and dinning area is really good. Highly recommend if you are looking for budget stay.
