Had an amazing stay at firdous by solaire. Centrally located and just 7 minutes walk from jhelum river front. All tourist places Easily accessible through public transport. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and weather being severely cold we never felt temp issues within the rooms. Stayed in a 4 star hotel last time in kashmir but this hotel was much much better than that and at very less prices. Special mention for the kitchen team. Food was delicious and the staff will do everything to make you feel comfortable. My son had a terrible cold and bad throat . Chef mudasir served khichdi and honey kehwa to make him feel better. The cafe Grill is jewel in the crown. Happening environment all in all. Special mention for Ishfaq, Anzal, mudasir and irshad for making our stay a memorable one. Will definitely recommend.

Stay at Firdous are not good. room was good but service is not good. 1. hot water was not there in this winter field. 2. In the breakfast there is only 2 spoon of upma avaliable, then they ask to prepare something and we got food after 1 hour. 3. After payment of Rs 500 for extra breakfast they haven't provide me a bill of that. 4. In the dinner, there is only dal. salt was not on the table. Empty dish, Spoon, Bowl was not there. we have to wait for 1 hour for dinner.

Pathetic, Unprofessional staff and worst ever hotel experience. Extremely rude staffs , they have don't care attitude and they treat you in a disgrace manner. No electricity whole night and no staff present in hotel to fix it. please avoid this and don't book this in order to not ruin your stay.
