I recently had the pleasure of staying at GoStops Hostel in Tapovan, Rishikesh, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Everything about my stay exceeded expectations, making it one of the most memorable hostel experiences I’ve had. The location in Tapovan is perfect for those looking to explore Rishikesh. It’s close to major attractions, including the Ganges river and several temples, while still offering a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere ideal for relaxation. The staff at GoStops was exceptional. They were not only polite but also incredibly humble, which made the stay even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to assist with any queries and ensured that every guest felt welcome. A special mention to the person at the reception—he was absolutely the highlight of my stay. His warm hospitality and willingness to help made a significant positive impact. The hostel facilities were top-notch. The common areas were spacious, clean, and inviting, perfect for socializing or winding down after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were also clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I felt at ease throughout my stay. From the beautiful ambiance to the exceptional service, everything at GoStops Hostel was amazing. It’s definitely a place I would recommend to fellow travelers, especially those looking for a friendly, welcoming environment with great facilities in the heart of Rishikesh. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rishikesh.

Everything was good overall, and I had a pleasant stay, but the parking situation was a mess. The Gostop offers parking in their premises that has cameras, but be cautious if you’re bringing your own bike or car. The parking area is your responsibility, and if any damage occurs to your vehicle while on their premises, they will not take any responsibility. In fact, they might react rudely if you approach them about it. This happened to me—while I was away, my bike was damaged in their parking lot. The windshield was shattered, and the indicator was completely broken. The staff member stationed in the day shift was very rude. They didn't even showed the cctv footage when i arrived later in that day. A few staff members need to get trained on how to do effective communication with guests.

3 nights in a private room/balcony There is No View - all private rooms face the buildings across the ally. Pointless to use balcony - only dust and noise. 1. Good Shower - water doesn't drain 2. Good AC/ Soft bed 3. Early checkin and Staff helpful 4. Good Parking situation 5. Bring earplugs This is a hostel but doesn't seem to have a hostel vibe.

perfect for solo travellers or group of friends but not very suitable for family stay. i mean the private room option is good if you just want a basic bed and breakfast but the real appeal and value of this property is in the fellow traveller interactions and activities facilitated by the common rooms offered by the property.

Had a great stay at gostops plus. Staff was very friendly and supportive, Amenities were superb, ample parking space, neat and clean rooms, roof area was just amazing with pool and sitting area. Location is very close to laxman jhula and local market. Would recommend this place to all solo travellers and couples.

This is a 5-star location, situated amidst the mountains with a stunning 360° view. It's a must-visit hostel. As a solo traveler, I found it completely safe for women.The staff were cooperative and polite.I would love to visit again.

Hotel is very clean and hygienic. Staff is very cooperative. Play area, terrace was good. Most importantly Kettle, TV, Water Dispenser is functional. Highly recommended must go!!
