A very cosy little place with lovely rooms. the rooms are very clean and well maintained. All the people in the hotel are very well mannered and highly hospitable. Its not one of of those commercial hotels but a warm and comfortable place to spend a couple of nights be it on business trip or on a vacation. the rooftop restaurant offers a good view of the jaisalmer fort as well as a vast view of the desert land. the food quality is good and they freshly prepare everything to order. overall a very pleasant stay.

pros: beautiful hotel, beautifully done rooms,amazing food, amazing service. Maaru the Manager is helpful and warm. The location is close(10 mins) to all the major spots- Sonar Qilla, Gadisar Lake, shopping markets etc. cons: the only con i could find was an absence of a lift..but u can always order room service which is again pretty fast and amazing too! Would definitely recommend this for family, friends and anyone who is visiting Jaisalmer!

It was a pleasant stay. The interior of the hotel was absolutely beautiful and vintage just the way you want it to be whenever you visit a city that holds the centuries old history in it. Food was average and the distance from the hotel to fort was just a few minutes by car. They will have to work on the food quality. Rooms were absolutely amazing.

Traditional ambience, friendly, polite and professional staff. The best part is view from terrace- sunrise over a vacant desert field on one hand and the whole of Jaisalmer fort on the other. They offer complimentary pick and drop from railway station. Freshly prepared delicious food. Would surely like to visit and stay again.

Hotel Helsinki is at a nice location, well inside the city but away from the crowd. Just a few kms away from the station & from the tourist attractions. Restaurant is well maintained however breakfast was above average. Staff is nice. Rooms & bathrooms are clean. Overall recommended for a stay in Jaisalmer.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very well decorated. Rooftop has a nice view of the fort and the food was delicious. Mr Maru is very nice and helpful person. The only drawback is the location, it is little outside the centre but everything else covers it up.
