Really great experience. Its more than what i expected for. Pros: 1. Heated Bed 2. Electric Kettle + all the ingredients required to make a tea. 3. Professional behaviour of staff. 4. Everything was neat & clean. 5. Geyser provided in bathroom with all the taps having option to select hot or cold water. Hair dryer was also provided. 6. Room service was really good. Some people say that food is little pricy but i think that's reasonable when you are getting food in the comfort of your bed & food was really delicious too. 7. This hotel is near mall road, it just took us 7-8 minutes walk to reach mall road. As an unmarried couple you only want fully privacy & no one asking you unnecessary questions. When we arrived at hotel we were just asked for our I'ds & nothing else. No one disturbs you in the room until you order something. You don't hear any unnecessary noise coming from other rooms or anyone walking past your door, Its a complete peace. Staff behaviour was really good & professional. Whenever you walk past any staff member you are greeted with a smile & respect.

Awesome stay at the hotel with great hospitality and well worth the tariff paid for the rooms. Set of polite and professionally trained staff who were at their best to serve the guests. Location is near mall at a walking distance of 10 minutes. Cleanliness, Rooms and amenities were remarkably upto the mark. Only the food prices might be bit competitive as the rates at outside restaurants are cheaper however the quality of food and taste was one of the best. It is recommended to stay at this property keeping in mind the positives of our stay and experience. Caring and Very attentive Room Services

Pros:-Cozy, clean and comfortable bed with Mattress heater. Clean linen. Clean and spacious Room. Clean Toilet with necessary toiletries. Tasty food with numerous options, served fresh in our rooms. Polite and decent hotel staff. Great hospitality.Cons:- remote location. hotel is located away (15mins walk) from Mall road.Premium rooms had no view. luckily we got upgraded to deluxe.Access stairs are a little tight.No restaurant, though meals were served fresh in our room.I will surely recommend this hotel as I myself will definitely book room in the same hotel next time.

The 3 striking things about Hotel Kapil are, 1) It's super clean and neat 2) Staff is very professional and also courteous. 3) Electric heater mat on the bed which is very comfortable. The rooms were not super big, but convenient. Had a great outside view from the room. Although you have to climb steep stairs to reach the mall road via Lakkar Bazaar, you directly reach the ridge! It's not very far also. Hotel helps arrange cabs for sight seeing trips and also for pickup and drops.

The stay was super comfortable. Thanks to the staff members. The room was clean and sanitised. The best part is that the hotel is situated at peaceful place away from the hustle bustle of mall road and you can reach there in 15 minutes (max., walking distance). Food was delicious. They also provided the taxi services for Kufri and Narkanda at nominal price. Had an amazing time. Thanks once again to all the staff members for their polite behavior.

awesome experience. rooms are nice, comfortable and hygienic. no problems with rooms, bathrooms etc. staff are so humble and cooperative. food is okay. just one thing which they can improve is by increasing tv channels. they have less tv channels. but overall nice experience. thanks for the facility provided. clean and safe room and bathroom. staff behavior and activeness. food is good. just love the experience in this hotel.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Kapil. The staff is friendly. Rooms are neat and clean and room keeping service also good. The main problem is there is no cafeteria at the hotel though room service is available but the cost is too high. If u want to eat anything you have to walk around 1 km towards Lakkar Bazar. Otherwise everything is good. Otherwise everything is nice there.

Very neat and clean rooms , good service. I left my set of clothes there in room bathroom and next day when I called them they just denied nothing was left whereas I know I left it in bathroom. Overall except from this hotel, service and food everything was good

Rooms are super clean and hygienic, very much close to Mall road and the ridge walkable distance, service is good. But they don't allow outside food even they don't provide you a plate also if you ask for it this is indifferent behaviour.

One of the best hotel in Shimla with 24/7 hot water supply,.. 10 min walk to mall road and very good view from hotel... they have provided electric bed which keep us warm during sleep.... they have provided first class hospitality.. :) :)

Great customer service and hospitality . Valley view is there in super deluxe rooms (no balcony) and penthouse. Penthouse room is on toop floor with private outside sitting area with swing and great valley view.
