I visited Thekkady on 20th Feb 2017 and stayed in Karar Garden . It was pleasant stay there . Hotel is really good and value for money. All the staff members were really helpful . One advise for whom who are planning to visit Thekkady . Please don't go "Spice Garden" , It not at all worth visiting there and things are very expensive comparing to other market shops .

It's gem within kumily town. Everything is just walkable distance from this property. Neat and we'll maintained, it's good for families and with children. courteous staff, spacious rooms, tasty food and amble parking. Worth for your money and time spend here. Spacious rooms with perfect balcony view. Smiling & supportive receptionist. Proper cleaned rooms. Had a pleasant stay. Dosa De Thekkady was not much good as expected. Just had their Plain Dosa but it was not up to the mark. Complimentary breakfast was ok ok. So for stay, it's perfect. Try food somewhere else.

highly recommended. value for money. location is too good. cultural,activities and shopping area is just nearby on a walking distance. food served at dosa de thekkady was also too good...special mention of prawn fry and fish curry....the staff was also cheerful and very helpful.

Perfect place to stay at Thekkedy . Loved the interiors. Very beautifully managed hotel. Will surely visit again. Highly recommended. Only one disadvantage there is no variety during bfast buffet, only South Indian food served. Please add variety. Rest all was awsome.

Good hotel with beautiful garden and ample parking space. Walkable distance to boating and periyar National park. Rooms are neat and clean. Quality of food in restaurant is good. A suggestion - Kindly add authentic kerala dishes to your menu.

excellent trip: i am a frequent traveller and trust me this one was the best trip, mainly bcos of this resort we stayed in. will definitely recommend and go again.. cheap and best. only negative is no wi-fi in rooms only in receiption.

Pleasant stay! Good location, just a short walk to the entrance of the National Park. Nice restaurant a joining the hotel which you can also get room service from with a small charge. Very helpful staff. Overall, great value for money.

If you are looking or planning for budget hotel with nice stay, staff & cleanliness then you can definitely go for it. The only thing I am missing in the room is tea maker. The 100+ option of dosa in front of hotel.
