Unsafe resort especially for kids. Snake entered our bathroom but resort staff took it cooly and advised us to keep the main door shut. If at all anybody want to stay please dont book ground floor villa rooms. Definitely not worth the hype and 5 star tariff for this privately run hotel maintained by semi literate unprofessional staff. There are much better professionally managed resorts like Taj or Zuri with better view of the lake. The food is below average and I feel they serve the leftover food of the previous day for the next day especially when there is a marriage or function in the resort.

Dream come true experience. We were lst timer couple to enjoy our 34 th marriage anniversary in this exotic resort created by nature and nurtured by imaginative and creative artists and craftsmen retaining the feeling of heritage with all modern amenities and made special for us with a surprise wedding anniversary cake ready in the room after our complimentary open boat ride in the back waters of the resort.I on behalf of KLR request my all friends and relatives to visit the bliss of this resort in particular. This lake resort is such a beautiful. we enjoyed there.Check in was smooth, after a traditional welcome, and you are escorted to one of your villas. The view from this resort is beautiful. Management & service is good.The staff were very attentive throughout and the service can’t be faulted.The Rooms are spacious and very traditional looking, although cannot be classified as luxurious.The sunset boat cruise with live music is very nice. The sunset on Vembanad is very nice.
