Location The property is located at the farthest corner of the road leading to it. You will not find any mode of transport on this road easily. You have to ask hotel staff and they have commission for everything. I found this road a little dark during night. They can surely install some road lights to increase the visibility specially during night. Rooms Room was not cleaned properly before we checked in and there was lot of dust and sand all over. We stayed just for one night so it did not bother us much. Bathroom had a very bad odour which we had to tolerate. Used our own bath kit as the ones provided were horrible. Can't expect much there. Ambience Overall ambience was good. There was a function going on the day we stayed or a scan I would say. Don't devote a single minute to them as they will just waste your precious time in the name of promotions. I knew this already so did not fall prey to it. Food and service Food was very bad to say the least. Whatever we asked for was unavailable. Also, our order was modified without us knowing and we had to change some items. They took unnecessarily long time to prepare main course. To add to this annoyance, they prepared undercooked chilly chicken. It ruined the entire evening for us. During check out they did deduct the price for this item when we gave this feedback. Fair enough but damage was already done. If you decide this property for your stay, keep in mind that two of the staff boys are very cunning and they try to take commission in every service you ask for, be it hailing a cab/auto or arranging a site visit. Food, cleanliness in the room and bathroom. Service was delayed.

pros 1) Nice exterior cons 1) No mobile signal within resort. Communicating with local cab driver was a real pain because of network issue. 2) Wifi is available only at reception and no wifi within Rooms. The wifi at reception was extremely slow. A real deal breaker as you are completely cut off because of no mobile network plus no wifi facility by resort. 3) Food wasn't great... very basic meals and tasteless most of it. Please don't opt for dinner meals. 4) The shower within the rooms are of no use. you will have to use bucket and mug for taking shower. 5) the road to the resort have big pot holes and risky to ride two wheelers on such roads. 6) Check out time is 8.00 am and on a lot of request will probably extend till 9.00 am but not beyond that. (Probably most of Neil island resorts have check out time as 8.00 am due to ferry timings) 7) AC within rooms takes a lot of time to cool. 8) The blanket was missing a cover. We had to request to place a cover for the blanket. Cheaper than other hotels but not worth staying and spending holiday time at this hotel.

This hotel has spacious rooms. As we are family of 4 they gave us extra bed with 800 Rs extra charge per night. Landscape and decoration of the hotel with light is beautiful. Laksmanpur Sunset point is approx2 km from hotel where grilled fish among other snack items are available. This hotel has in house resturant where delicious foods both veg and nonveg are available but I think quantity is less. But food is costly in Havelock and Neil island. AC was working and toilet also was big in size. But the hotel is somewhat inside from main road and not on beach side. But you can easily reach main road by walking. You may not get any running auto but you have to hire auto/ cab for full sight seeing. we enjoyed beautiful landscape at morning and light decoration outside the hotel at night. I think this hotel is value for money. we wanted a spacious room where all four family members can stay together and we get that. we stayed in double bedded room.

The staff Mr Pramod and the Owner Sarojit is very helpful. From the point of check-in till check out their hospitality was excellent. Even owner did our government ferry tickets booking by being in line in early morning at patawari office and did not charge a single extra penny from us. Breakfast and food is affordable and delicious 😋. Paoaya from the garden they served us free of cost. It was fresh directly from the tree and tasty. They are also providing water Sport. Feel free to explore this hotel, its affordable, very well maintained and beautiful hotel. Everything

Hotel rooms was good and clean but lack of services like hot water , toiletries and minerals water . Limited Options for breakfast.. staff sits on ur head for checkout which I didn't experience in other island . They switch off the AC sharp at checkout time so people cant stay . Other families in my ferry told me that they got flexibility in their checkout timings .

Visited during travel restrictions in Jan 2022. Had a pleasant stay. The staff was helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean with all the amenities. No private beach but the best beach in Neil, i.e., Lakshmanpur Beach, is a 3min walk, just across the road. And the best part is the food. You will feel like you're having home-cooked food and it's really delicious.

I recently stayed at this property and was impressed by its cleanliness and excellent maintenance. The Wi-Fi worked seamlessly, and the restaurant served delicious food. The spacious room, coupled with ample balcony space, added to the overall comfort of my stay. Highly recommended for a pleasant experience!.. Worth value for money.. staff was helpful

Laxmi continental resort was great. The location was nice. It’s just the wifi, I couldn’t get it in the rooms. I’ll have to come to the reception to get it. I’m a solo traveller from Shillong, Meghalaya and I didn’t realise Jio didn’t work so I needed wifi to download maps and all that. But my stay was really nice and wonderful.

Its a nice place for the price range.Food is okay .And the owner helped us get a scooty too.Rooms are pretty nice and cozy.Even bathrooms is neat.The only thing is there is no WiFi in the room ,you will have to come out to the reception to get WiFi.Also the road is not that good.

location good near Bharat pur beach and jatty walking distance 7 to 8 minutes Sitapur beach by at 15 minutes distance, food taste was so good Cook and staff friendly but manager behaviour was??? room condition good clean and spacious my experience over all good 👍 thanks goibibo

Do not think of booking Laxmi Continental Resort when in Neil Island. You are served with used linens, smelly washroom, non-functional flush. Breakfast is pathetic with barely 2 options. This property needs to be managed properly. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

The best stay ever I had , amazing food with home style fish, neat and clean room with well maintained.The Manager-Pramod is a nice person and very supportive. We enjoyed,Greenery of the resort where can spend time in evening sitting outside.
