Worst place to stay. 1st of all it is not hotel. it is home of one old man who is giving some room on rent to make quick buck. This place is inside Jaisalmer fort, so if some one has come to Jaisalmer by their own vaar then they have to drop their car, downside of fort area & pulled their all baggage themsleves till this small house, which is located at very narrow lane where even auto can't come. We had booked two room for two couple, three kids & one infant & paid around ₹6.6k for it, but after reaching found the two room offered by house owner are so small that it can't accommodate kids, so we were forced to take another one room & paid around 1.7k for it and it had no attached toilet. When we asked about it , the house member said that normally they give all their room to foreigner who never complain for anything & Indian people keep complaining. My family was surprised by their answer. It is not even lodge. You won't get any toilatories, no towel, no room service , no attenednet to carry your luggage. Well I believe by paying this much money anybody can get much much better place to stay. well but old man & his family are simple & good people. If you ask for any assistance they would help you. Infact view from outside the room is very nice as it cover border wall of fort but it doesn't worth it. It is not a place to stay with a family. it is an old house , one which partial room are being rent out by its owner. Few rooma are wirhout attached toilet & few room have their own storage. It is not at all a hotel or lodge. It is someone house for which they are charging too much.

They treat guest like family members. I enjoyed my jaisalmer trip with the owner of the hotel he have arranged my sightseeing and camel ride even camp stay on a reasonable rate. The stay was awesome u can see whole city from hotel view. And plus point u stay in a fort bcoz hotel is located inside the fort. Stay was awesome more on it the food cooked by aunty was too awesome it feels like home u will no more feel u r away from ur house on travel. Must visit to hotel laxmi niwas.

Hotel is on the Fort so you need to climb up a little. Rooms are decent but if you get a room with common bathroom because there is no such details provided when you book it, then you are really unlucky. View from the hotel is amazing

No attached bathroom was there with our room and not mentioned anything clearly during booking time. Otherwise it was o.k. Location was very near to fort.
