Located very close to Brahmaputra river bank, and its very much at the heart of the city. Fancy Bazaar is basically outside the hotel, and paltan bazaar is a short auto/uber ride away. Almost all the landmarks of guwahati are less than 2 to 5 kms from the hotel. Ambience is good for the price, so was the room. Wifi was good.They don't allow outside food, so we have to order from their menu. And the breakfast is same menu every day. Rooms are little smaller than we expected.But overall worth the money . Good for couples, although rules state couples not allowed (in reality they don't enforce this strictly). Normally privacy was there, except when someone vacates their rooms nearby, then noises are disturbing.

I stayed recently at the hotel for 4 nights. Very helpful staff. Room and toilets were clean, TV , Gyser and AC was fully functional. Any thing we ask was like water was delivered in 5 mins. The food is delicious and theg are considered taste palate for North and South Indians they serve poha, Puri and idli along with BBJ , fruits and eggs The hotel is in Fancy Bazaar and very convenient location to reach any part of the city. The fancy Bazaar footover bridge is where you can get buses to any part of the city. They also offer guided tours to shillong in reasonable prices must try. Surely visiting again.

Magic Square Hotel location is excellent. Located at Pan Bazar and just beside Fancy Bazar. Ideal location for shopping and eating. All kind of shops are available around the hotel. Auto stand is there just beside the hotel for movement. Hotel rooms are very good, neat, clean and tidy with all facilities like Lift, double bed, AC, TV, Geyser, WiFi. In house restaurant facility at reasonable rate. Good complimentary breakfast. Hotel staffs are well behaved are helpful. Ideal place to stay for tourist as well as people for business/ Official tour.

Very good morning, it was really awesome experience of stay at Magic Square. All staff are so nice 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍. Food is like home and the breakfast 🍳☕🍞 is really delicious. Whenever I will visit Guwahati . Will definitely stay in same hotel. It was really awesome stay. Keep the same always, my best wishes to the entire team of Magic Square

Honestly speaking there are no demerits in this hotel. They provide complementary breakfast and the free breakfast is not for name sake, they serve all most everything which we eat in the breakfast.
