My husband and I had been to Maliekal Heritance Resort for our 1 year wedding anniversary and I feel that the trip was totally worth it! The property is located in Cherai, a good distance away from the city's hustle hustle. With a restaurant that faces a lovely beach and rooms that face the back waters, the location of this resort is to die for! We checked into the wooden cottage with a jacuzzi. Since it was our anniversary, the whole room was meticulously decorated and looked absolutely beautiful! The staff was very polite and courteous and took care of all our needs. (For example: We had a 6 o clock morning flight on the day of our check out and we requested the staff to arrange a light breakfast. And they did! Neatly packed sandwiches and boiled eggs for us to eat in the cab, on our way to the airport!) Maliekal offers good food and the chefs take care of our specific requirements, if any. It has a clean swimming pool which is nestled away in a quiet corner of the property that overlooks the back waters. To sum it up, I feel that Maliekal Heritance is definitely value for money! The treatment we received there was nothing less than 5 star! I highly recommend the place.

Property is not so big.. But well maintained.. Very clean... Awesome atmosphere.. Food was good Breakfast buffet have good choices Pool was well maintained Room was good.. Jacuzzi is also well maintained. They had Provided with a small kids park that make the kids happy. Cycling is also fine One suggestion - - try to provide float while people in pool. Ribbles area can also be improvised. Apart from this all are good Resort Atmosphere Cycling Kids park

We recently spent a blissful weekend at Maliekal Heritance Cherai. Refreshing Lake views, stunning greenery and room ambience with Jacuzzi - perfect for relaxation. One disappointing item was Waves restaurant - dinner and breakfast. Kerala Porotta was dense, lacking the flaky nature and this was served with bland Mushroom curry. The same experience with Chapati and Chicken curries. Overall an underwhelming experience at their restaurant.

Had a disappointing experience and the hotel. Booked a hotel through them, only to find pesticide odors and rude behavior from the manager. Despite prompt reporting and efforts, the issue remained unresolved. Consequently, a refund was agreed upon, as we decided not to check in due to unsuitable conditions. But it's been more than 2 weeks now but no update on that.

The location of the resort is fabulous. Staff is co-operative. Food is good. There was a problem as we booked a wooden cottage with jackuzi but the hotelier told us that such a room is not available and only the wooden cottage was provided to us. The promised difference in amount has not yet been refunded. Otherwise the experience of stay was good.

Experience was fine in the hotel. Happy with the hospitality but the area was too long as there was some construction going on & it was very noisy. Services they offered was worthy & food was so-so not exceptional. It also has ample space for car parking.

the greatest experience in cherai beach, stayed in many resorts in cherai but this one is extremely good and comfortable. staffs are very polite and professional and restaurant and foods are simply awesome.
