nice stay. it was beautiful and secluded (as we wanted). the location is behind DPS Manali, there are various other cottages near it, but I guess this is the most vfm stay. ideal for short stays. they don't have their own kitchen (orders are served from adjacent hotel) and you cant cook in the kitchnet provided . there are not many eateries around the stay since it is in non-commercial Manali. So the only demerit I would say will be to not have options to eat, unless you have your way to commute to the main Manali.

Owner was very rude. In Spite of electricity they cut it from the main supply area. Every time I asked for anything he told us to ask*** for this or checkout. Very far from Mall road if you book a cab to go there then they will charge you min ***. No power backup. No room heater if you want then they will charge 400 per day. No hot water bcoz of electricity.

poor service quality.. interior of cottage is beautiful.. but yeh waste of money as it is situated far away from main city.. in case of heavy sonwfall roads get blocked.. they do not provide vehicle if you get stuck there.. it was really a bad experience.. and the cost of additional services are quite high, not at all reasonable..

the number of person named Jonny given by Ibibio for contacting hotel.Mr Jonny gave us location of hidimba palace and asked us to stay there... being new to place we have to stay.... and after research we came to that we are cheated.I will go to consumer Court both against Ibibio and that hidimba palace.

Location is good, moreover the staff is also good but hotel does not have 24 hours power backup. So, if electricity goes u have to wait till it come back. Even hotel does not have its own restaurant so you have to go to near by restaurant to eat.
