✨ matha forest resort, purulia: a perfect family getaway ⛰️ just wrapped up a memorable 2-night stay at this beautiful mountain resort. the panoramic views of the hills from the property are absolutely stunning - perfect for those instagram-worthy sunrise shots! rooms & cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. comfortable beds and well-maintained amenities made our stay pleasant. food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ the complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight! loved the live dosa counter and the variety of dishes available. each meal was fresh and tasty. kids' activities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ great for families! the kids in our group had a blast playing in the spacious lawn with slides. swimming pool: ⭐⭐½ the pool could use better maintenance - this was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ staff was attentive and courteous throughout our stay. overall: a fantastic resort for family getaways. the combination of mountain views, good food, and clean accommodation makes it worth visiting again. just hope they improve the pool maintenance!

My overall experience was good but would like to share the info regarding laundry service as it was not available at the moment so we had to somehow manage and also they didn't mentioned there that the laundry services will be of charge (Once available), rest all the food was excellent and the view was extremely nice as we can see the mountain View on top. As in couple, it's couple friendly but will be better if you call and ask the reception first regarding your stay and all the concerning factors.

calm and serene property. very well maintained. spacious rooms and clean toilet. staff's are well mannered and prompt in their service. we got good cooperation from the staffs, specially Kittu.Only drawback is the approach road connecting the resort with the main road. it's very narrow.Dense forest and the hills surrounding the resort.

weekend getaway, worth it.staff is courteous, food is good.in comparison eco adventure resort. don't go in summer, rainy season is the best time as the dam will be full with water. matha resort is good in summer. surrounded by hill on one side and fair enough greenery.recommendation: summer matha resortwinter eco adventure resort.

Stay was overall good. Spacious rooms, good housekeeping. Timely room service. Great ambience. Pool was awesome. Was provided with extra towels at the pool. Negatives- approach road from the main road needs to be widened and repaired. Food served needs improvement on the preparation aspect.

An absolute go for it resort their's foods are also best in class and surprisingly free breakfast quality is so high that you'll really doubt if it's free or not but relax it's free... and last but in fact the most important things support staffs are really more than helpful and cordial

Everything is very good and staffs are very polite. Always choose complimentary breakfast if available. Food is little costly but taste is very good. They also provide tea and coffee in your room. All the places are very clean. Only thing I missed there is wifi network.

i loved the property and the behavior of the staff. they were very much helpful and polite. and the property! just don't even ask. it's so beautiful. when we reached it was raining. and it was mesmerizing. i loved it. because the whole property is romantic 😍

Good resort for families. Service was very good. Complimentary breakfast was also very good. I liked the concept of tent house very much. But approaching road to the resort from the main road was so narrow that at a time only one four wheeler will move.

Great Experience the Resort is located at a very good place. It is cover by mountains from one side and has a very good and premium Tent house. The food was amazing and they also have a swimming pool which was just started from one month.

we stayed there for four days ... location, rooms are ok ...but the restaurant rate is very high .. no variation of buffet menu and quality is poor ....in evening snacks, every day jhal muri !!! not justified with high price

location of matha forest resort is just awesome, behavior of the staffs is very good and they have maintained the entire area very well and the taste of the food was also just awesome ...overall it was a memorable tour

Matha forest resort was the best stay so far. The ambience, the resort, the room and the staff behaviour are impeccable. Only the food cost is a bit high but then again,within 20 kms there is no main market nor a town.
