MPT sheesh mahal is located right in between Jahangir mahal & Raja Mahal, the picturesque sight from the hotel is too good to be true! one is bound to feel royale staying in this heritage hotel amidst the Orchha fort.The service is a bit slow and not upto the mark as it should be for a heritage property like this ( considering the charges/night) ,the staff however is cordial and accepts their shortcomings with a smile.so kudos to that! The food really can improve since most of the things on the menu I had chosen wasn't available. overall the stay was very pleasant and beautiful to say the least ! The light and sound show happens in Raja Mahal in the fort premises so that's a plus,you can purchase the tickets there itself. I highly recommend MPT sheesh mahal for those who like staying in heritage properties amidst the quietness of a fort

Beautiful, Perfect, The Best ! This is probably the best place to be in Orchha. Location - 10/10 Cleanliness - 10/10 Staff - 10/10 We took a maharani suite and its beyond brilliant. You experience the royalty and the view from this suite was just brilliant. The hotel is inside the Orchha Fort Complex and just a 2 min walk to the light and sound show. They beat the misconception that a Govt tourism hotel cannot deliver cleanliness and luxury. Great great job done by MPT. I have stayed at other hotels in Orchha and would recommend this as a must stay place whenever you go to Orchha. Very accommodating staff The restaurant is close and within the premise A luxurious stay

Very good property in the heart of Orchcha. You experience the royalty at heart at Sheesh Mahal. This is next to Jahangir Palace which is one of the major centre of attraction in this city. Staff is cordial and professional. Cleanliness is perfect. I especially want to thank Mr. Tripathi from MPT staff who very kindly helped me with an important luggage we left behind at the hotel. He was a great help and displayed true humanity and selflessness. Will recommend strongly that you should stay here.

Inspite of having a confirmed reservation from ****** , I was turned down by the Sheesh Mahal reception citing non-receipt of ******** communication. At 10:30pm, after 2.5hrs of telephony, *********** staff arranged an alternate hotel at a ridiculous location. I had no choice! Till date, inspite of several requests, I am yet to receive an explanation. I am receiving constant mails from ****** to review Sheesh Mahal where I could not stay. Ain't that FUNNY!

Location is awesome. The heritage appeal captivates. The vibe is Very soothing and has a calming effect. The proximity to Ram Raja Mandir adds to the powerful emotional connect. Room was good. Breakfast and it's serving was POOR. The taste, the variety, the presentation...all of it was poor.

A very pleasant and a Royal stay among the historical fort complex . Highly recommended . Hotel staff was very helpful courteous and always with smile . There is need for improvement in morning breakfast. All tourist attraction within walking distance . Betwa river front requires a ride .

location of the hotel is fab. renovations are done very nicely . clean and spacious rooms. staff is also very warm and welcoming. Visitor must try a morning walk around in the Heritage walk area in the fort campus. had a nice stay.

Entry to the room is through Restaurant and we were given room adjacent to public toilet of their restaurant Room is like a matchbox which makes u experience claustrophobia

The room was very spacious and beautiful. The food menu is too limited and the quality of food is not adequate. Otherwise it was a very warm and comfortable stay overall.

Had a good stay here. Location was perfect, walkable distance to all major heritage sites. Rooms could be better though at that high cost.
