Just within 100 Kms from Bangalore, Galibore Nature camp is a great place to spend time with family for a weekend. Being a JLR property managed by the Govt of Karnataka, it is pleasantly surprising to see that the maintenance is very good. The staff are always willing to help and are very punctual on all the items of the itinerary - be it lunch, coracle ride, tea, campfire, dinner, early morning trek or breakfast. The whole environment is very soothing with the splendid Kaveri river running right in front of the property. Both sunrise and sunset are a sight watching by the river bank. The coracle ride gives a great opportunity to see the birds and sometimes, crocodiles. The children enjoyed thoroughly all the play areas, cycling, dart and other adventure activities. The weather was splendid and the tents were spick and span!! Bathrooms were also clean. Kudos to the JLR team to make the weekend memorable for us!!

Very nice camp in secluded location. The Galibore JLR camp located on the banks of river Kaveri in the Mugguru forest and 3-4 hrs of drive from Bengaluru. Beware there not be mobile network available so plan it accordingly. We as a family went and stayed for a night. Totally enjoyed our stay where u can lost urself in the forest with birds chirping here and there and no one to disturb you. Many activities for adults and kids are available, bicycles, rackets, etc. Coracle ride was awesome, my kids enjoyed a lot and we spotted few crocodiles. coming to food is very nice and good taste. We along with my kids enjoyed they food very much. The accommodation is a kind of tent with all the basic amenities but without TV so you are totally cut off from the outside once you step into this beautiful camp. Overall we enjoyed a lot specially my kids as we step out after a long time due to ongoing pandemic.

A great stay with JLR amidst nature. very helpful staff and arrangements. Food has a good variety and starters were tasty. They can arrange for cold drinks and beer in the evening. Overall, its a gateway you will not regret.The tents are beautiful and can easily accommodate 3 adults. No Air conditioning but thats as per the expectation while nature is preserved.Evening bonfire and snacks, ride in the coracle and the birding experience.

The camp is well maintained and the staff makes sure you aren't bored at any point of time. A boat ride, safari and a morning Trek was arranged. The food was excellent and the arrangements for food were even better. Being a camp site, expect some insects around most of the time but there were no mosquitoes.

it is excellent place to stay near nature. approx. 3 hours from bangalore. 9km away from main road. it is dirt road and some patches are slippery if raining. Avoid taking sedan car if possible. food was average. evening barbeque snacks were good.
