This is the best place around Shimla. With heavy commercialisation and urbanisation, Shimla is no more a good option for tourists looking for serenity and peace in a hill station. LR House is the best option in Theog which itself is the best location for a peaceful high altitude vacation with best views in the region. LR house itself is 4 to 5 km away from Theog town which itself is moderately urbanised and raw. LR house is more of a home stay. DO not expect hotel like amenities. Have good parking facility and rooms are well kept and clean. Did not try food there but I guess it would be home like. I strongly recommend this property which has its own apple orchard too.

Mr. Negi proved to be a very good host. The rooms were very warm and comfortable along with all the amenities that a traveller looks for, while traveling to hills in extreme winters. I stayed there along with my friends and 2 children. We received great hospitality, beyond expectation. Talking about the view from the homestay, however it is little far from Shimla main town but you would feel as if you are living with the nature. Rooms had an extremely beautiful view with beautiful sunrays reaching you right at the time of sunrise. If you want to stay away from the city’s hustle bustle, this place is a must stay.

It was a wonderful experience at L R Heights. We went for just one night stay and found this place to be awesome. We stayed in Suite and the rooms are quite spacious. Service is extraordinary here and they took very good care of us. Food is also very tasty. Overall it was value for money experience and I would recommend this to all. Over and above we had an awesome live snowfall experience and the place turned completely white.

Great great location and helpful people to be around. It is situated on a hilltop surrounded by an apple orchard. It is indeed a home stay and not a full scale hotel. The rooms are excellent with top of the line furniture and clean washrooms. All rooms have a panoramic valley view. Mr Negi is a well traveled and knowledgeable man who will greet the guests with a warm touch of hospitality. 10/10. Would visit again.

Here is 5 star and unexplainable everything. Like food which is home made and fresh Air. Low croud, Osm View wich unbelievable actually this view is only available in Taj theog ( Shimla). Mr. Negi ji is a Osm Heart touching person actually i am working in sales and marketing and i have done my lots of Trips and Lots of check-in but this is Cheap and best hotel. Decent food and decent everything.

The hotel location is very peaceful and beautiful away from all noises of road and city. The person in charge there is very friendly and helpful.Room is little small but good for two people. Good homely food can be enjoyed there. There is a amazing view from the room window. Really it's a nice place to stay in Theog shimla.
