New Buckingham Palace, houseboat located at Nigeen Lake gives you wonderful experience of being at Kashmir. Location is quite peaceful with proper connectivity to different places via road and most amazing by Sikara ride. I opted for Sikara ride with family for Dal Lake view. Rooms are well maintained with excellent food which makes you feel at home always. We were in Srinagar in last week of Dec when temperature dips to quite low but houseboat rooms were well equipped with bed heater, room heater and hot water at washroom. I must mention the way Capt. Hameed Duno ( Houseboat Owner) has taken care of us with utmost affection and as family. He took utmost care of us during entire trip with very useful suggestions and guidance. I strongly recommend everyone to visit New Buckingham Palace, whenever they visit Srinagar and enjoy the hospitality of Capt. Hameed!!

Had an awesome experience at New Buckingham Palace Houseboat. The houseboat offers a soothing and serene setting. The cleanliness of the room is well-maintained and hygienic. The room was very beautiful and the view outside of the Houseboat was beautiful and pleasant. Our stay at the New Buckingham Houseboat was quite relaxing, scenic and enjoyable. Houseboat provides wifi access too. The Food & Dining served at the properties is homely and delicious, with authentic Kashmiri taste. The houseboat owner is very cooperative, helpful, and courteous, providing excellent service to the guests. The care taker is soft spoken and helpful. Wish them loads of success and happiness and good health always ahead in life. Thank you for making my stay not just pleasant but truly memorable.

We had a delightful experience on our houseboat stay, thanks to Captain Hameed who warmly welcomed us and shared fascinating insights into the history of the houseboat. The houseboat itself was well maintained, offering a serene escape from the bustling Dal Lake. A special mention goes to caretaker Mumtaz, whose attentive service ensured our every need was met promptly. Overall, it was a memorable stay filled with warmth and hospitality.

Place is quit and away from commercialize dal lake. So if you looking for peaceful stay opt for Nageen lake House boat. service is good and prompt. HB is neat and clean. Amenities like hot water, TV, electronic heated blankets, bathing needs and beautiful lake view followed by snow capped mountains.

It was a really great experience... loved it...great scenic view of the nigeen lake , Hari parbat and Hari parbat fort... comfortable and spacious rooms...and the room service and the owner's behaviour was really good♥️...it's a must try at least once in a life time ...

They have kept the place clean. The person who takes care of guests is very polite and tries to help guests. I would not recommend anyone to stay in houseboats as it doesn't give any kind of experience. you can do a Shikara ride and that should be good enough.

We had an extra amazing experience in this palace.. Captain Ahmed was a wonderful host who not only educate us about entire kashmir destinations but also arranged cab for us for the entire trip.. Please do try this boathouse while in srinagar..
