The location alone makes it one of the best choices for accommodation in the area, as both the fort and the river are just a leisurely stroll away. The absence of a full-fledged restaurant didn't hinder my stay at Hotel Raj Palace. Instead, they thoughtfully catered to guests' needs with a selection of tea and coffee. For those looking to indulge in a delightful meal, there's a charming vegetarian bhojanalay at the nearby Banke Bihari Temple, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The culinary delights at the temple's restaurant added a delightful touch to my overall experience. One noteworthy aspect is the limited availability of hot water, which is accessible from 6 to 10 am. While some might find this restrictive, I personally found it to be sufficient, especially given the pleasant climate of Maheshwar. It's essential to plan your bathing routine accordingly, and the staff was more than accommodating in providing any additional assistance required. The hotel's ambiance is warm and welcoming, with a touch of traditional decor that complements the historical surroundings. The staff was incredibly courteous and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Honestly telling it was a wonderful stay considering the location of the hotel.Ghat is only 40-50 meters away from this hotel.Try to get a riverside view room if you like to spend your time in the room.Mr. Sagar - an owner of the property is very much helpful in guiding you if you are a first time visitor.Room service is very prompt and staff is very supportiveLooking for one more visit n stay in d same hotel.Do not expect 3-4 star hotel as it is not costing you more that per room.Safe stay, complete guidance by hotel owner as I was new to MaheshwarFamily felt that it was like a home from away home

The location of the hotel is perfect. All the places which you want to visit in Maheshwar falls under 1 km. radius from the hotel. The hotel owner and staff is very welcoming, polite and friendly. To visit sasthadhara waterfall the auto drivers there were demanding a fare of Rs.300 for just one hour and a two way ride of 12km which was not at all justifiably. So I started looking for the alternative to go there then the hotel owner offered me his bike to go there and spend as much time as I want. Very welcoming and sweet gesture by the property owner, Sagar, I really appreciated.

Writing this review for Non AC rooms. Good budget stay, clean rooms, clean bed, clean bathroom. Need little attention to overall interior of room. Location is near the ghat section, so it is perfect. Go for AC rooms if you want narmada river view from your rooms. Owner is very helpful and courteous. He accepted my request to extend checkout time as I felt sick on the checkout day and need rest after taking medicine without any extra charge. Also arranged one person to drop me to nearest bus station over two wheeler
