i rarely write reviews, but my experience at hotel regal amritsar was so terrible that i feel compelled to warn others. if you're considering staying here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!i am writting this review from the hotel lobby itself as i am exiting this place because i couldn't bear any longer to stay here .1. pathetic room conditions:we had booked 2 rooms (best rooms they had) as soon as we entered our room there was a horrible smell, we could see spider webs and dust everywhere it is certain that the cleanliness is the last priority for them , along with it the rooms had no proper electronic locks on the door, in one of the room we had to use the key itself as a door handle because there was no door handle to begin with. there was no proper bedding, it looked like the previous sheets has been used instead of being replaced.2. unclean bathroom:the bathroom was filthy. there was hair from previous guest(s) in the shower.very very bad and poor service, tv is not run for a second also.bad behaviour by front office .rs 500/- taken for early check-in but room given after 2 pm with un-cleaned conditioned.this hotel is for money burning purpusstuffs behavior is very rude & unprofessional also. itself as i am exiting this place because i couldn't bear any longer to stay here .

Plus point is Close to Golden Temple. Hardly 250 m distance.. Markets are close.. Other hotel options are also there.. Taxi couldn't reach the hotel for a 100 m distance.. auto/ e-rickshaw are the options to reach there which are plenty.. The night shift boy is very rude.. Don't opt for breakfast while booking.. as No buffet breakfast is there.. only room service that to only ALU PAROTHA.. not worthy.. only room booking is ok..

first they gave me a room which did not look like a picture while booking and there was cattle in the picture while booking and when i checked in there was no cattle when i asked for it they charged me an extra 700 rupees for it . second they asked me to change the room the next day of my stay they asked me to shift my luggage while i was sleeping and totally ruined my stay in amritsar.

The behaviour of the hotel staff especially the guy at the night shift was very rude. I was there with my parents and they asked to clean the floor which was very dirty and switch on the television but the staff didn't listen to anything instead they charged extra for the water bottle they provided us.The only good thing about the hotel was its distance from the temple nothing else.

hotel service delay and I have made a prepaid booking and on check-in day i reached late at night around 8pm and booked classic ac room and front desk person didn't provide the correct room and didnt checked that all things are in place or not after made the complaint the last day room changed and I was shocked that room too awesome but service is pathetic.

it was really nice staying there due to great location as it is just 2 min walking distance from golden temple and the room was really clean and hygienic , i actually liked the stay and would recommend the same if you are coming for darshan in amritsar it was safe place as a solo traveller and for girls group also

the hotel staff was bad. they were cleaning the rooms and changing the towels and bed sheets even after multiple reminders there was no one who would attend calls on reception very bad and horrible experience my parents really didn’t had good time. i would not recommend anyone for this hotel

my stay was very pathetic and I have booked breakfast but it's not on time room service is very bad 😔 I really don't like my room and the hotel. AC and fridge is also not working.I don't suggest anyone to stay here.
