Absolutely disgusting and disappointment of a Hotel. No way they should hail a 3 star standard. I have stayed in better 2 stars. I am certain that the hotel is frauding .... At first the room we got was small and suited for the officer's who mainly come here to stay. The property is filled with single men govt. officers and not suitable for family. After complaint and much argument they shifted us to a slightly better room. But the view! Let's just say that may be they should have saved themselves from the window budget. Untrained staff and unprofessional chef makes for a poor service and failed kitchen. They destroyed the evening of my anniversary with their callousness. This is the first time I have encountered oyster sauce in a stew. Just imagine! what a cook who can't even make a stew. In a summary save yourself the money and stay somewhere else or experience this torment first hand. This review is mainly targeted for people with a good style of life. This does not matter of you have a 24/7 "Don't care" attitude like the Mizo.

Hotel Regency Zarkawt is truly comfortable stay. The place is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Good restaurants and shops/mall is located nearby, further they will provide car on rent to see places which I appreciate coming 1st time to Aizawl. Staffs are friendly.However I experienced an unpleasant experience with room service, when they simply washed cups in plain water. I was horrified. I asked the lady staff but she replied vaguely and avoided questions by playing dumb. It was concerning because my sister had coffee the night before and it made me wonder who else drank from that cup. Only 4 star for the unpleasant unhygienic experience. Overall place looks and feels clean.It's convenient, breakfast is good but could be better and the beds& bathroom are clean.

rooms booked were near the staff rooms and common toilets, so lots of noise and rooms where okayish the bathrooms were small old and had broken tiles which is not what you expect from a nice hotel , they assigned the worst room i guess as there normal rates are around but in any other 5stars or hotels in general they don’t practice such things, no matter where you book from. never going to book again here as they dont care about the customer’s satisfaction

stay at hotel regency, aizawl was great! breakfast and food is also good. staff is nice and helpful. hotel is neat and cleanliness is maintained throughout the day. ambiance, lobby and each floor is beautiful. good hospitality. it's famous and known to everyone hence easy to locate and accessible for the first time visitors. my best wishes to hotel and the staff.

Firstly about hotel. located at a good place but property is very overpriced. buffet menu only limited items are served that too they are not worth rooms are not at all good at this price specially bathrooms no toiletries are kept even after complaining at front desk. no food served after 10 in the night....

Good stay with good food for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Well located, nearby Bara Bazar and New Market - the most popular markets of Aizawl. Definitely recommended for family or business trip.

Location, Room service, food all are good, however there is lot of noise and light till late night from outside room. It becomes difficult to sleep even till late night due to noise and corridor lights.
