The place is not at all as per the pictures which is very misleading. Very basic room offering minimal privacy. Also, it’s quite difficult to even ask for water or tea as the hosts stay quite a few levels down. The cleanliness level of the room also was not good. The room was very dirty when we arrived and wasn’t cleaned even after a day’s stay.

excellent stay, very nice experience. cosy rooms well maintained
housekeeping was good.
Host was wonderful.
I would recommend this to anyone coming to Joshimath.

This was the 1st experience I had when we tak of a homestay bt that was tremendously amazing and conforting.Rooms were clean and the food was amazing.The owner is very friendly and ensured our comfort to their best possible.

A very nice, comfortable, clean & secure place to stay in Joshimath. Homestay is operated by a very friendly, supportive and caring family.
They take care of everything to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, safe & secure. They serve very delicious home cooked food.
