East Bourne-A Pine Forest Resort

We booked this resort after going through the reviews available on different websites, but trust me they are all fake. The resort is far from mall road. They have disappointed us in so many ways that the space here is too less. 1. We were promised a complementary pick and drop to the mall road by the FOM but later in the evening when we asked for it, the manager in the evening shift backed off saying that we have to make payment for the service. 2. The resort has a swimming pool , which is chargeable even for the in-house guests on hourly basis. 3. The rooms are too small. 4. We booked 3 rooms well in advance but still our rooms were not together, rather were in different blocks all together. 4. The check in time here reflects 12:00 pm but they allotted us the rooms at 3:00 pm claiming the rooms were being cleaned. 5. On the day of our check out, we kept receiving calls from the front office since 8:00 am regarding the time by when we will be vacating the room. 6. The hotel staff was non cooperative. It is my advice to all of you who are thinking of booking this resort to NOT book it. It is just not worth the bucks spent.

Simply put in 2 words..... worst experience. . it gives u that feeling.... O shit... why did I select this hotel and that too for holiday outings. This hotel can give you nightmares. The staffs at the reception and of the hotel were gentle but they raised their hands in despair everytime they were asked for basic services. The rooms look clumsy and not at all maintained. The walls in the rooms have cracks and it certainly doesn't give a good feeling when you are being charged a high tariff. The fabrics used in the sofas or even the curtains are old and doesn't look lively. The lightings are poor. And if u are a late sleeper then dont expect late night services. U cant even hv drinking water in the night if u missed to get it before 11 p. m.. Even the most basic thing like wi-fi was not available. The food was also not good enough to tickle ur taste buds.

hotel's location is good, though situated a little far from Mall road, but it is right in between a forest, hence view from windows is superb. also open dining area and lobby were my favourite places in the hotel. however, the hotel charged extra for every little thing and also they refuse straight away for small things for eg, we needed umbrella to go out as it was raining for half an hour, so we requested the same at the reception, but they refused. these are small things that they can improve.

Rooms were okay, can have cleaner washrooms with exhaust switch ( exhaust turns on automatically in morning) TV can have movie channels Breakfast and dinner buffet (~Rs. 1500 per person including gst) can have more options considering the cost To visit mall road, u would need to book cab (Rs. 300 for 4 seater) to lift and then take lift to reach on mall road. View from room was good Swimming pool was smelly and it is not included in room cost Parking was available
