Best hostel in Leh, I stayed at other 3 famous hostels in Leh but Rover's Den is the best hostel so far. The best thing is they serve home cooked organic meals which I craving for after travelling for 7 consecutive months. Location is also good, 5 mins from market. They have a big garden with a chilled out area which I liked the most. It's more of a community hostel with such a mindblowing crowd. amenities are limited but it's hostel, for the price they charge it's worth it. Greeshma & Kaustubh are very helpful, ask them any doubts you've about ladakh and they'll go out of the way to help you. They arranged my permits and bikes to roam around (bikes were new and in superb condition)

I am so glad I booked a stay at Rover's Den and at not any other commercial hostel. I am travelling in India from last 4 months and stayed at 40 odd hostels, Rover's den is one of the best amongst all. It's more of a community stay or you can call it a home away from home. If you are looking for a hotel facilities with hostel price then this isn't a place for u. I made so many friends here, we cooked together, ate home cooked food. We had lazy movie afternoons, played jenga & cards on our acclimatization day. This place has the perfect backpacker's vibe. They have solar heaters so hot water can be an issue in the early morning.

Awesome hostel to stay at Leh. Great place for work from home as they have airtel xtream fiber connection with 200-250 mbps of speed and power backup also. Also they provide 24x7 hot water as solar is installed along with great home made food. If you want to travel greeshma and kaustubh will suggest you the best itinerary possible and also do arrangements for you with reliable prices. The aura of the place and the people who come there are awesome and a nice bond is made with everyone along with the hosts. I really enjoyed each and every moment of my 15 days stay there.

I went as a solo traveller to this hostel and that was the best decision i made. This place is surely not for a family, it's more like a community stay with like minded people. Cleanliness and basic facilities are perfect for backpackers. They have a big open garden with bonfire where you bump into many other travellers and can find a company for your journey. They have a small cafe with limited basic home cooked organic food, if u r fan of resto kind of food then main market is just 5 mins walk away.

Had to give 1 rating because zero was available. One of the worst homestays/hostels in Leh. The rooms were pathetic with almost zero spaces in between the beds. The washroom was always dirty. The receptionist was rude with atmost no interest in attending the customers. Sorry, there was always no receptionist. We had to play hide and seek to find him. Definitely would not recommend for solo travellers. Please work on cleanliness

Really pathetic experience. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people and when it cane to having dinner we were neither provided space in common area not allowed to have dinner in our room even when we requested multiple times. Groups occupy common area and never vacate and give a small corner for other groups and it feels so embarrassing having food there.

Best hostel for anyone wants to do work from home. Excellent wifi internet connectivity. They provide hot water for bathing. Kitchen available and we can make our own food. staff and management are very polite and helpful. They make delicious Food ,Though they have timing for food. If we request they arrange it on need basis.

I had an amazing stay at Rover's. Great hostel with chilled vibes. limited but home cooked tasty menu. Location is the best part, walkable distance from all main places. Owners & staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for solo & group travellers (not tourists).
