Never in my life, I'd been offered a hotel room as dirty as this. I called the reception so many times and they lied they are sending someone. When I went, they said, they are sending. I waited for 1 hr and nobody came. Then, I called again and I was informed housekeeper is cleaning the other room and will come after that in 5-10 mins. Nobody came for another 30-40 mins. When I called again, other guy picks up and asks another person if the cleaner is coming. I knew they were lying by the tone of their voice. The receptionist says that we offered this room bcoz wiring was happening in the other room -- but wiring was happening in my room as well (image attached). I asked the electrician if he can do it some other day -- but he said it needs to be done now only. I had to keep my room open for 1 hr, until the other guy came and told the electrician to work on my room some other time - then the electrician agreed and had no issue. I had a long journey and had booked this place to rest, but I hardly got a minutes'rest there...there was noise all around, had to keep my room open for wiring, couldn't use the washroom because it was dirty and stinking...entire room was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. I was forced to leave the place after 3-4 hours of my stay here. If the property was not readythey should have closed the booking....the room that was offered to me was different from what was shown on the picture...it was a complete waste of my money, energy and time coming here. Location is also far from the main city of Varanasi - you hardly find a cab here. Everything. There was no cleanliness, staff were not helpful -- was asked to keep my room open for wiring, no privacy, nothing. I would not recommend this property to anyone!

we were alloted different room because wiring was going on . everything was good . hotel staffs were polite .
