Rating 5 stars for following reasons 1. Location - it's location is excellent. On one side is the lake where one get a beautiful view of lakes and on the other side is the palace and city. City palace, crystal Gallery and tickets for boating located in the same campus. Get a golf care and get the glimpse of top attractions here in a very short time without having to commute. 2. Room - Terrace suite room is perfect to get an excellent view. You get to see taj, jag mandir and a view of other properties in the city from your room. Do sky gazing, cool breeze even in the month of April because of proximity to lake 3. Feel of living in a palace - the hotel is build on a palace property and it's a perfect place if you are looking to get such feeler Special mention to Vikrant who helped us settle . Though had initial hiccups but it ended well PS - if you are opting for a basic category room viz. palace view room - you will not get any view from room and could be quite depressing. So better cough up some more money and get a lake view room viz. terrace suite room

The property is beautiful with a magnificent view of the city. Food is gr8. Location of the property is like cherry on top. Staff is courteous, however the staff does not have much knowledge about the local sight seeing timing especially the ones not managed by the trust. The family wanted to have dinner at Jag mandir (property managed by the same co) but due confusion / lack of knowledge of staff we were not able to. SNP staff told us that the restaurant at Jagg mandir is closed for renovations however when we visited the hotel same was open. The tickets cost is high.

One of the most royal stays I had had. It's a grand palace with beautiful interiors and gives real feel of living in a palace. It was used as a guest house for royal guests meeting the Udaipur royals. It's situated in same complex as City palace. They have golf carts to help guests travel within the palace/hotel premise. The staff are very helpful and punctual in their service.They have complimentary golf karts for guests available for commuting to Jag mandir boating point and City palace gates.

Amazing place to spend quality time. superb ambience and aminities. best service by house keeping. luxury facilities. delicious food in breakfast n dinner. well maintained and beautiful lake view from the rooms. privacy and aminities in the room. lake view rooms makes it more romantic. loved to spend time on the open balcony n terrace viewing the sunset. Bathtub had great sunset view.

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. The restaurant staff were just lovely and the food was amazing I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Best Property at a beautiful location. Staff was helpful. I had issues with my rooms they helped us resolve it quickly. Everything was super but I felt like the rooms maybe be overprised (but thats ok afterall its a palace property)

Great experience. its in city palace so yes .. u feel like king... courtious staff, they provided complimentary cake for us for birthday and decorated the room with light flower and bulloons. worth a five star hotel..
