Recently I visited Pahalgam and unfortunately stayed here for 3 nights. First of all I don't know why they have mentioned hotel river square. Its not even a hotel. Its basically a homestay with only three rooms. The rooms are quite small in size and suffocating at the same time. Washroom was clean. Apart from cleanliness i did like nothing. Also the pictures they have shared with the Lidder river flowing at the back side, actually that area own by another hotelier or homestay owner. But you can go and accessthat area. I was very disappoint to see that. When I saw pictures I was super excited but the moment I experienced it I was got so upset. Anyway I would definitely not recommend this homestay at any cost to anyone. You will only get breakfast and Dinner that too they will arrange it from outside. And also there no evening snacks available at the resort and if you ask them to arrange they will not do that. Overall my experience was not so great. Thanks !

We stayed here during our visit to Pahalgam in the last week of April and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a beutiful location right in front a river stream (2 min walk) which is serene to watch. The room was cozy and very clean. Our host Ilyas was very polite and attended us promptly whenever required. Five star rating for the cleanliness and an excellent host.

Our stay was pleasant, rooms were neat and maintained well. The caretakers Naseer and Ashid were quite humble, kind and nice person. Hospitality was amazing. Shops, restaurants,park and river are just walking distance. i am very much satisfied with my stay , happy to recommend 😊

Amazing experience here, great hospitality by the Mr. Ilyas. Mesmerising view of Liddar river with snow covered mountains just 20 metres from the property. Food options were also great. I want to edit my review

it's like a guest house, no lidder river view. no geyser, they have some central water pot continuously heating, so you have to waste two buckets of water to get lukewarm water from the tap.

owner was friendly and staff was polite. cleanliness and hygiene was good. we enjoyed our stay here. lidder river is accessible through this property and it has a eye-catching view.
