My friend and I with our family stayed at Sirukundra Wooden Chalets for 2 days in the last week of Aug 2017 and I would rate it as among the best holidays we spent. We have been settled in Dubai for over 8 years and are very picky about our stay, food and class of service as we usually stay in 5 star hotels. We were initially apprehensive about our stay, specially cleanliness (Room and Kitchen) and food, however proceeded with the booking as it was suggested by my sister-in-law and her husband. The property is very well maintained, the staff are courteous and food prepared by the staff had great choices and was of high quality and taste. They helped us beyond their call of duty by delivering food from their kitchen to our room during heavy rains and during extended hours. They suggested good places for us to visit around Valparai. Property also has a small game room with carom and chess. This property is ideal for couples to take their time off from their busy work / city life, but kids may not enjoy as there is very little for them to enjoy (which is in a way good). Overall I highly rate this property and kudos to the staff :)

Sirukundra Bangalow is highly recommended for people who are looking for a peaceful close to nature accommodation in Valparai. The Tents they provide are really nice for a tent, but there could be squrels or rats around the tent and they might let you know their presence at night, so if you don't want all that take the bungalow rooms which are very expensive but you will get that colonial tea bungalow feel fir your money. Food is OK, they will ask you what you want for dinner from morning 9am and you will think they have big menu but finally they will say they have only chapati and some basic chicken curry so be ready to eat the same, and a helpful tip, better go with the pepper chicken than the chettinadu chicken curry. And they will say fulka but it's chapati only so no need to get excited thinking fulka is coming for dinner. Valparai doesn't have good restaurants so you are better of eating from the bungalow itself. All the best for your peaceful stay.

we had a short stay at the tent accommodation. Reception was good. The tents were thoughtfully worked (though not architecturally) along the boundary of the campus. Food was not served at tents... restriction to go out of campus at late hours.... these had reasons behind and reasonable. Quality of food served at dining hall was admirable. Wild life admirers have a chance for close encounters with wild lives. The nature walk in the morning was refreshing. Putting things together, though the accommodation looks a bit expensive, it's balanced with the quality of service and environment. Go for it...

Calm & Quite Location. Well built and clean property. We stayed in the wooden chalotes which are very good and trendy. Mr. Vimal and his crew are doing a good job. They have arranged a BBQ space for us even though it was raining. Food quality is very good. Fresh and hygienic.... Need to improve a bit in power backup. Anyway its a good location and a great escape as there is no mobile coverage for most of the networks...

The hotel has exceeded my expectations ..it was a great calm and peaceful stay .The staff were very good and helped out for all my and my family's requirements. Will strongly recommend to all for a holiday. Just a tip If travelling as bachelors take the "tent option", if as family take the wooden chalets or the bungalow itself. Really worth the money !!

Its very nice place to stay those who like quiet and clam. The resort is clean and neat and staffs are very friendly. If you like birds its a must place to visit. I stayed in wooden chalet. Food was very good tasty amd freshly prepared after we orderd dont expect big option what they have they serve it neatly. Safety,help full staffs. Good managment.

We booked wooden cottage. Great Location, Clean and spacious room, balcony with view, bathroom is neat and running hot water all the time. It is located around tea estates which is great location.We had buffet for dinner which is good and breakfast is complimentary. Both are very tasty and had good number of items. It was a great stay.

If visiting Valparai, please don't miss this place. I really enjoyed staying here and it was so beautiful, and peaceful. The people at the hotel are so awesome, especially Mr. Manikandan. They will take care of any requests you have and will be happy to guide you on anything. This place will help you to disconnect from outside world.

beautiful property, well maintained, superb service... The costomer service provided by the estate staff will put a person trained in Hotel management to shame.The staff is so courteous and humble. The food is not all that great however the service more than makes up for this lapse. Loved the experience, will be back again.
