The hotel is situated close to Darjeeling mall. We stayed for 3 nights in a duplex suite, the rooms are very nice and clean with a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga. The best part of the hotel is the food and room service, all the staffs are very well behaved and helpful. As we stayed with our 2yr old daughter we were concerned about the food, which was well taken care of by the in-house restaurant, they provided with everything that was asked for. Our room was located on the top floor of the hotel, best for view but the stairs are high, so be physically fit to climb them. Bathroom was a bit smaller. Overall this is best hotel experience I've had while travelling with our Baby.

If you are looking for a good hotel near to Mall road, then this is it! Bang on opposite is the famous Glenary bakery's behind entrance. Just have to take a beautiful alley and you will land up there. Ambience- 10 on 10. Cleanliness 10 on 10 Food- 10 on 10 Staff and their behaviour- Priceless. They will go one step further for customer delight and will make sure that the guests have a comfortable stay. Will definitely recommend this and would like to visit again. Thank you! The Manager & All the support staffs are very down to earth, they all are behaving like you I am their relative, Superbbbbbb hospitality around the corner. Superb food, very delicious, near mall road, nice location,this is 4th time i am spending with my family. Love to all the members of Sonar Bangla. The location is perfect. Opposite to Glenary's. Mall is 3-4 mins walk. Beautiful mountain view from room. Room is perfect. Bathroom is nice and clean. Food is very good. And the hospitality is excellent. overall a very good place to stay and relax. Privacy is perfect. Food is given in room if asked. Hospitality is mind touching. Cozy comfort of the bed.

The breakfast time from 8 am to 9:30 am is too short. I think it should be at least 2 hours,since I have been informed about the standard time.I felt difficult to brush, bath and then wear my clothes in such a short time in cold conditions of Darjeeling. However, the amenities, the services, and the food are too good.

The hotel is very good and Excellent.. the ambience is like 90's British hotel. The hotel service is very elegant.. The behaviour is quite polite.. Their restaurant food is also good.The price is little high but they gave enough quantity of food that can be had by the 3 people.. So overall i rate the hotel 4/5. Done

Excellent stay and location was awesome. Really happy with the behaviour of each and every staff member . Ramesh was a very nice guy who was always prompt with any customised request. Overall I will definitely come back to this hotel again next time
