Lovely property, beautifully situated...The staff are very polite and helpful and always available at hand...Very nice ambience and excellent landscaping...The pool needs to be opened as there was a board saying "pool closed" in spite of it being full of water and looking ready for use...Given the harsh Sun, a canopy over the pool might be a good idea. Food : Breakfast was good and varied Lunch and Dinner : Too much prominance given to only Gujarati cuisine.....Considering SoU will attract visitors/tourists from all India and the world, a more pan Indian cusine is a must....This is a definite down side of the property, especially for non-Gujaratis.

Tent city-1, I would go here purly for experience and nothing more, Make no mistake the staff the food and tbe ambience is amazing but i somehow feel tents givin old vibes and they are not up to the mark in terms of hotel property. One good thing with tents is you get viewing tickets and food all three times which makes it a good deal: I would rather prefer tent for 1 night stay.

subject - complaint regarding extra charges at statue of unity by tent city 1management dear sir, I have a complaint regarding the extra charges taken from us ( by naveen) for the ticket of statue of unity. When we reached there, we asked them for our tickets as per our booking 3 adult+1child. they gave us only three tickets & for fourth ticket (child) charged 380 rs .

Not value for money, food is great quality but could use better preparation, attempt other nearby hotels instead of tent city. Go for this only if you want to get up to the Sarovar view, want a guided tour and don't want to look for lunch+dinner+breakfast when you are at ekta city.
