I had visited Patnitop alongwith my family in Jan. Had found the pics of Devdaar Cottage to be quite impressive. All that fell flat when I found that a basic service like a geyser was not installed in any of the bathrooms. Imagine the plight of inserting your hands under chilling cold water during winters ! Basic things like providing two towels for every double room (only 1/room was provided), keeping the toilets clean & ensuring the cable connectivity is in order in every room was not taken care of. The positives : The hotel care taker promised us hot water in buckets, which is really cumbersome & not practical at any point of time. Food was also good. All in all, a totally avoidable hotel in case you are with your family. Could have easily stayed at a better option in Rs. ...night rate.

Worst things happend to us during our whole journey.. Service is the thing they have to work upon. We booked two rooms and as we reached there what we saw.. we saw a dead rat lying in the closet on the blankets with all his excrete(PIC uploaded after the rat was removed) .. also food they serve is awful. Infact there is a small Dhaba in front of this hotel. They serve much better food from this place.... they will charge you for every single thing you use...

Worst experience ever.. The bedsheets and the blankets provided in the room were not clean at all. We asked the staff to change the bedsheets but even the replacement wasn't clean. There were stains at places. Tv wasn' working in any of the booked rooms. The hotel staff should be more careful about hygiene.. I would have given less than 1 star if there would be have been an option..

The worst experience i had during my stay in this hotel.Toilet seat was broken, dustbin full of mosquitoes and spiders.Blanket was so pathetic, that there smell was like, it couldn't wash years before!Monkey's are wakeup alarm,as they start jump on your rooms shed, that makes your morning feary! Never recommend this hotel....

Decent Hotel. This hotel is in front of Green cottage hotel, else it is difficult to find as name board was missing. 10Mins by car to children Park and Gandola. Food quality is osum and quantity is too much and price is too low. Highly recommended for Food lowers.

Friendly owner and staff. really liked the hospitality of everyone. its a small hotel considering other hotels in Patnitop. still it is a decent budget option. i would suggest to group of friends and family incase they are looking for budget stay

One day stay at the Devdaar cottage, Patnitop. Location: 1.5kms away from the Naag temple. Amenities: Hot water and food available on request. The view from the hotel room is nice.
