I was booking the hotel very close to the actual date of my journey and needed early checkin. Instead of sticking the normal "subject to availability" line, they offered me an early checkin which gave me immense peace of mind in my journey. They even kept the room ready before my arrival despite it being an early checkin. The rooms are clean and spacious and even the washroom was pretty big and clean (this really makes a difference to me as I do not like crammed washrooms, especially in family rooms). The food was fairly good too, I would not say it was out of the world or anything, but it is good and simple food, and I was quite satisfied with that. The hotel is located very close to the station, which makes it very easy to reach by an auto. The hotel also offers complimentary drop off and pickup at/from Banganga or the Helipad which was available during the day and even after midnight. The service here is outstanding and the hotel even went above beyond to provide a complimentary drop off at the Katra market when we were checking out and agreed to take care of our belongings till we came back to collect them in a few hours, before we were to head off for the station. I also have to give a mention to the hotel cab drivers who provided various insights which were immensely in the various activities that we undertook in Katra. One word to describe this hotel and thier staff and the hospitality is PARADISE. The staff is extremely courteous . Mr Abhishek at the reception is really warm and welcoming. Mr Sunil Sharma front office manager made sure that my stay here is comfortable . Since it was my birthday and a friend of mine wanted to send me cake before i come back from my darshan . The staff is so courteous and helpful that they arranged it and made my birthday even more special . I really appreciate the efforts of the entire staff. Well maintained and hygenic place . Food is superbly good n averagly priced too . Grateful to Mr deep kumar and Mr kuldeep and Mr Ratan who served me such good soulful food . The entire staff was extremely courteous to me . All in all it was a womderful stay for me . It felt like home away from home . Grateful to all of you . Thank you . My safety and security there , it was raining on the day of my departure and they made sure they drop me to the station in thier hotel vehicle.

This was our second stay. We came first in January 2021, at that time facilities were not that good because of COVID. We thought to give a second chance to this hotel & we were amazed to see the hospitality. Staff is nice, clean rooms & hotel. Free pick up & drop to railway station. Also, free pick up & drop to Banganga. Though we only ordered snacks with tea & coffee as didn’t get a chance to eat food because of our schedule. We must say the food quality is really good. We would definitely recommend this hotel for all the pilgrims coming to Mata Vaishnodevi. Jai Mata Di..!!

overall it was a pleasant stay with Grand Sharan, we traveled with a small kid, and they were very supportive and prompt in very providing services. I would recommend the hotel and would visit again in my next trip to katra. just small suggestions there should be a small fridge in the room and breakfast was excellent but it should give both bread options: prantha and puri/bhatura rather than alternating them daily :)

we stayed in the grand sharan, katra for 1 night. it was an excellent stay full of comfort and convenience. the in-house food is tasty with quick room service. the rooms are superbly clean especially the bathroom with the window overlooking the sacred mata vaishno bhavan on the trikuta hills. i would definitely recommend the grand sharan to everyone looking for a comfortable, cost stay.

I booked The Grand Sharan, from 6 Dec to 8 Dec '24, and the hotel provided complimentary pick up and drop from Railway Station and from Banganga Entry Point. The rooms are comfortable, the hospitality is top notch, the staff is cooperative and understanding, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit, which I hope should be soon. Jai Mata Di.

Overall I recommend this hotel. It was a pleasant stay. My room was upgraded from premium to suite. Breakfast was good. Varieties of options was there like sandwiches, mini uttpam, corn flakes, chana bhatura, poha etc. Staff was helping in nature. I was provided free railway station transfer as well.

Had a wonderful experience in the grand sharan .met with guy named Neeraj at reception very helpful 24/7 and also upgraded our room as per our request .. really looking forward to book this hotel again for our stay in katra very neat , clean and good environment

Nice hotel with nice amenities. Prices were also very reasonable. Our room had a distant view of the Trikuta Hill which looked beautiful in the evening. This place is couple friendly which we appreciated a lot.
