The Gulmohar Grand Hotel

I Would like to bring this into notice regarding this Worst Hotel the Gulmohar r Grand , so I stay here for 1 day from 12 Dec to 13 dec 2024 upon my visit ( no one accompanied me to carry my bag inside hotel which usually in small hotel also guards or someone helps as basic atticate ) , upon arrival inside the hotel area I went to the Reception Desk ( and there is rude and arrogant lady standing ) , Her Way of talking in the first go was too bad , she allot me 1 room in ground area , which I ask her to have a look first , so when I visited in my room lobby first it was full dark area which was giving me a lot of negative vibe as a female , then when the hotel staff open room (ROOM NO. 503) for me ( it was too shabby a, smelling bad , and not matching to their photos what they posted on go ibibo , to which I came back and confronted this hotel reception lady ( she Cleary told me – “ yes I can understand that you’re feeling unsafe with the lobby area but I can’t do anything I have only this room to give you “ I was so shocked with her this statement that she knows already but she is clearly denying and forcing to stay there only , when I confronted her more strongly after this statement , she said “ I have 1 room upstairs I will give you , but you have to pay me 1000/- extra Moreover she clearly know also that we booked on NON REFUNDABLE Policy so she is taking advantage of it ) . Again I was too angry that she is making money demand Just to switch the room, though in beginning she denied to give different room, but her lust of money grew suddenly. I don’t have any option – I Went in that room inside (as this hotel is on highway area and there is no other Transportation facility nearby for tourist like us, and city is 10km approx distanced. When I went inside the room – first thing I put apply my deo spray so many times , I saw there is no towels available , I saw washroom floor was poor in condition , washroom sink was stinking and was uncleaned , room walls has full termites ( dheemak ) The walls are broken , table legs were broken , the washroom gate lock was not working , the main door of my room was not safe at all because there is nothing from inside so that I can have my control of my main gate ( means anyone from outside having master key can open my room as I can’t close it from inside with any chain or anything else ) , another heartbreak is there breakfast – Bhature they are service are cooked in oil oil as the bhatura was wrapped with oil and some black particles over it , sandwich was kept open wrap with normal towel ,dahi and sauces were kept in bowls uncovered , paratha were cold , asked for ginger tea in end they provided masala tea means their staff never listen for any personal demand , they will just serve you and say NO . Next day we checked out quickly as we genuinely feeling unsafe and negative their and went to railway station very early , Now Another step we taken to complaint – I Have explained everything to their customer support team name – she called the hotel and talk to this reception lady and then she called me back and said “ Mam you are right the reception lady is too Arrogant and rude in talking I m really sorry for this but she is not excepting her mistake of not keeping hotel to its standard moreover she said that they should tell us that room is not clean “ LOL , Means a customer will tell to clean the room or is it hotel responsibility ? I Request everyone to do not stay in this hotel - NO TRANSPORTATION Nearby Available , Bad Staff , Bad Rooms , Unsafe Aura , Bad Food too , moreover no facility of hotel ( as they are claiming they are 4 star ) they are not even close to 1 star . This Hotel highly should work on their main staff especially this reception lady who was busy in doing talks with other staff instead of answering customer query who is standing in front of her. (I have attached all photos of my rooms for proof )

the hotel is beautifully built. the room was neat & clean and very spacious. as we were travelling with our 1 year old baby the hotel staff cooperated alot in providing meals for the baby at 3 o clock in the night. they were very supportive, courteous and accommodating. we had a very comfortable stay. with respect to food, the hotel has an in-house restaurant called tandoori flame which serves amazing veg thali which has a variety of dishes and is quite affordable when it comes to price. on top of that the hotel has a food court in front so it gives you a lot of food options to choose from. overall it was an excellent stay. will always stay here whenever travelling on this route.

The hotel service is very pathethic,they even dont have hot water in such a wintery month and when we call them they said they will fix in a moment and then we waited for almost 1 hour and as we are getting late we took bath from cold water!!!matter doesnot stop here,we call room service for luggage and not amazed by their service that they didnt again send anyone and took our luggage ourselves PLEASE DONT STAY HERE SERVICES ARE VERY PATHETHIC

I had family trip to himachal so i decided to stays in Gulmohar grand. Overall stay experience was good and the amenities and infrastructure was good however i did not like the room services as they took lots of time specially in night no one picked up the phone . I also spoke to the manager(Ajay) and shared my feedback. I really liked the food but did not like the room service specifically in night.
