Experience at The Metropolitan Hotel: The hotel is located on the Vizag Highway so the connectivity is good. All major attractions that Vijayawada is famous for were easily accessible. Oodles of parking space was available. The staff working there was extremely professional. We really liked their service during our stay. The Room (205) that was given to us was very neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the room service was also fast and satisfactory. Newspaper delivered to us was a telugu one, I wish they asked us about this at the time of check-in because I’d have preferred an English one. Please do not expect any of the fancy stuffs like gym or pool etc because they don’t have all these amenities. Booking/Price: We first walked in to check the price and the best they offered us was an AC room at ...per night including breakfast. However, we paid ...per night for the same when we made a booking . A few things that we felt could be better: The little fridge in our room was not working, it didn’t matter to us much but for many it might, so check beforehand. They do not serve alcoholic drinks in house. Car parking space was not covered so we had to park our vehicle out in the burning Sun. Can be a problem for many in summer. The quality of the television in room could be better. Overall: We loved our stay here. I can easily ignore all the negative things mentioned above as the service was definitely worth the price we paid. An easy recommendation.
