Definitely not recommended as there are strange and peculiar rules that one should know even before u book the stay. 1. 2pm check in and 11am chk out. 2. Limited food options but would be charged a bomb for what ever u order definitely on a higher side eg lime juice 65, veg snack 150 and non veg 200 3. No standard menu rate card would be given and rates will vary as per the mood of the owner. 4. Very arrogant owner (kaneena) and before u book the property he will be so good and after the booking is confirmed u will get to see the real wired face. Pls beware 5. If u are coming for lunch or dinner than u should inform him before 10:30am in the morning only or else no food would be give forget food not even water would be supplied. 6. Its a destination not for relaxation but to excersie military rules. 7. The meals would be charged at flat 250 and breakfast at flat 150, so kids above 5 also would be charged at full price whether they consume 2 slice of bread be ready to pay for it as per the std rates. 8. Kaneena the owner will keep finding opportunity to bill u someway or the other. 9. Huge power cut and fluctuation but u cannot blame the owner as he does not switch on the DG but will say how I'm responsible for the power cut. 10. By the time u wake up the next day u should complete the breakfast within 8 o'clock and be ready to check out as they will be pestering u on the same. 11. No facilities that u can explore in the home stay (its his estate where u can see lot of arace nut trees) no swimming, no cycling, no boating don't be fooled by seeing the website. 12. U would be give an hand written bill and I should except any and if u need a proper itemised bill than be ready to pay more as the owner says I don't want to pay tax and if u pay for taxes I will give u a proper bill. The charges shown in website is inclusive of all. 13. Don't be surprised If the owner behaves weirdly with u. Don't expect any flexibility with this homestay Overall if ur planning for a peace full holiday than vihangama is not the destination for u. U have many good resorts and hotels to choose upon...

It is a beautiful property with lush greenery and beautifully designed vast lawns decorated with rock art. The room prided to us was medieval with bathroom, WC and Indian styled toilet all located separately and at different levels. We being senior citizens found using them a lot inconvenient. The breakfast served was frugal but very well made. We were also provided with packed *Akki Rotti* for our onward journey. The staff is cheerful, courteous and very hospitable. Ours was a very brief stay and I felt I paid a bit heavy on the room tariff. But then the sylvan beauty and the efforts gone into making the place as beautiful as it looks and maintaining it that way costs a lot of money too. So, left with nice memories!

Very bad experience ... location is good but bad service .. no food available with in the resort ... they took 1 hour to do the checkin and 1 hour to check out process ... as their is no cooking inside the resort we ordered food they went out to get the food ... food was bad as well ... and guess what there is 1 small table fan in the room ...this is absolutely waste of more by the end of this a hopless experience...

It's located in a complete isolated area so location wise it's not at all convenient & there is nothing available near to as well. The room I stayed in was fine but it was too expensive & even the food was very expensive as well. Even there was network issue over here & even they don't provide any WiFi facility as well. I will suggest people to not stay here at all.

Had pathetic experience with this place...Had travelled with the kids..it's defence camp ...Where in u have to obey their silly rules n regulations....No food options but they will charge u bomb for the limited food they serve...absolutely no entertainment in that place...owner is not customer oriented but only money minded...Plz be aware of this place...

The stay in Vihangama Hotel was pleasant inspite of two rooms which are always supposed to be together were very far from each other.The reception and the owner were unable to help us in this matter.The food was exceptional prepared by the young chef Yeshwant.All credit to him for his preparations and hospitality .

A family oriented business. Everything is handled by husband and wife. So lack of professionalism is felt. Ambience is good. No room service. ,even at dinner time. That is a great disadvantage. Also they are very bound about ruules and reglations. Like a jail. But overall good.

Location and ambiance were peaceful and easy to reach. The restaurant was available there for the food. The nice garden area was available. Also, it was a secured place to stay. Highly recommendable to stay with family.

The place where the resort is situated is very good. Villas near river is great too. food nor even a cup of tea is not included in the tariff which is a dud.AC did not work and was very hot. Hence giving lesser rating.

It is a beautiful place in the outskirts of Thirthalli, you can get rooms for all sorts of budgets and comfort level. Has a beautiful lake and a huge farm attached to it. Must visit. Food too was good

misty morning. great ambience. very supportive staff. Little on the expensive side. a plate of onion will cost u 30 rs. so u need to be a bit good on pocket for food expenses.

Not a great experience, manager charged extra for breakfast even though we had booked complimentary breakfast. No channels in the tv - not worth it, very arrogant.
