the villa is pretty average. we were given 2 rooms in the backside which were completely different from what is shown here and they were small. during checkin, caretaker asked us to give him original ids and said to return them in the evening. why? ids are usually returned at the same time but he said the owner was not at home so he couldn’t get printouts but then i talked to the owner he said to return the ids to us in sometime as he was at home, still he took 2 hours to return us ids and we returned when we asked him, not by himself. caretaker provided us towels during checkin and when the next day when we asked to give us fresh towels to get ready, he said only one towel per day is given to guests so we had to manage with our dirty towels. the checkout time is 11am, the caretaker came to tell us to checkout 10minutes before that, even hotel allows checking out 1 hour late of usual checkout timing. after checkout we went to nearby beaches and left our luggages at villa and when we came back, we had beach sand all over our body so we asked caretaker to give us a room to get ready but he denied, i talked to owner as well and he was like, room had been made and guests were on their way to stay in those rooms then i requested that we needed washroom for just 1 hour to get ready and in return ready to give nominal charges too and he was like ‘no, you have to pay almost full amount(80%) to use rooms’ so we again had to manage all things in the common washroom which was small and dirty. i have stayed in many hotels and resorts but never experienced these things. we felt like living in a cheap oyo room and even oyo rooms show better hospitality than these guys, i would recommend staying in a good hotel rather than this villa because you will experience better hospitality over there. even price wise the villa is not cost effective, you can get better apartments even in lesser prices than this and better hotels in similar or a bit more prices.

This is a perfect studio with Smart TV, kettle, mini fridge, tea and coffee with cups. Also there is a small wardrobe to keep your clothes. Of course with Air conditioner & water heater 24hrs for a relaxing bath. This place is in between Colva and Benaulim beach which makes easy access to move around. Right opposite to this Villa Barbosa they have a liquor shop. In and around multiple restaurants for your taste buds. Is that it? Nah you too get an in-house dining menu depending on the season or time you visit. With all this major catch is your room's ambience and if you are the one taking the road side balcony then view is pretty much pleasant. With all this good experience you might become cozy and lazy to step out. It's definitely a place to relax with family or couples to relax in the room. Overall if you are in South Goa then don't miss it. Ruban's hospitality will make you feel the next level of customer experience.

Rooms are small and not as shown in pics. no restaurant. Only 1 nepali caretaker who can't make traditional food. 1) No hot water after calling no action taken. 2) TV installed without set up box. 3) No dust bin inside room. 4) Celing only has 1 bulb and no side table near the Bed. AC is small and far from bed. 5) They show u balcony room and give u ground floor 120 sq ft room. 6) cupboard is very small and no dressing table inside the rooms. No good restaurants near the property. Property owner said chek in is 2pm.and check out 11 am. please dont waste your money on this property as no services or staff is available. they spoil your vacation and mood.

I had booked a 2BHK Apartment at Villa Barbosa, however due to some circumstances, I had to cancel one room and keep the other room, when we arrived at Villa Barbosa we were given a small hotel room instead, whereas I was of the opinion that we will get a 1bhk at least if we cancelling the 2bhk apartment. There is only one caretaker to take care of all guests, room cleaning is not done every morning, some services as promised were not provided.

Excellent studio apartment. Clean room and all the amenities were provided as mentioned in the booking. Also, the rooms were exactly like seen on pictures. The owner Mr. Ruben as well as caretaker were very co-operative. One suggestion: If possible, please provide some breakfast options delivered to room. Overall had an excellent stay!!

location is very good, even property is new and good. washroom is quite clean and new. no electricity or other issues. room and balcony is also spacious. owner and caretaker are responsive and good. got good deal in week days, otherwise i saw it was expensive.

The stay at Villa Barbosa was amazing! The property is private and pretty. Reuben the owner is super helpful, kind and sweet and treats you like family! Overall, a fantastic experience.. Definitely coming back again and again :)
