Yogg Hostel | Rooms & Dorms

I wish I could give it a negative rating.. Apart from it's proximity to Pandey Ghat nothing was good about my stay at this property..Two days prior to our check in We had confirmed the date & timing of our check in, timing was quite odd, our KOAA JAT expressed had arrived at Varanasi Junction at 2:40 a.m.. They assured me that there would be no issues if I check in around that time but having reached there it was a different story..There were no rooms available for us.. We had to spend nearly 8hrs in dormitory.. Now, in the private room there was no running hot water, there was no geyser, there was a tiny sized fan, the size of the room was too small.. Next day around 11:30 p.m there was no water at all, we had to go down and use the common washroom of dormitory..There was no towel or drinking water provided in the room..Even after calling the reception guy Rajesh several times he did not provide us with mosquito repellent coil at night.. The reception guy is very impolite and ill mannered..He is always into parties with his friends inside the hotel premises only.. All boys drink and party at night whereas drinking is prohibited for guests.. Just pathetic experience we have had..Never ever plan to stay at this property..You will be suffering like anything..We are running our YT channel in the name of Sanjana's Story wherein we would definitely highlight these issues prevailing in the property..

Pros -cost effective,location is good ,Not very crowdedCons-Washrooms were not clean,no laundry service,no housekeeping to clean beds on daily basis,complimentary breakfast was not provided-cafe was not operational,common area was not well maintained ,dorm pics posted by hotel are for females only ,male dorms are without window,map location is not correct ,hotel should mention proper path from airport ,railway station and bus station,single reception boy is taking care of hostel 24/7 so its tough for him to manage everything ,owner should think about this ,

Hotel is nice, located nearby to Dashashwamedh Ghat and Baba Vishwanath Temple, Assi ghat is 1.8 kms only. Godowlia chowk is 1.2kms. Vishwanath Lane is nearby. Use ola bike and Rapido for travel, Autos are not allowed in most of Varanasi. Bedding was good, two shower and two toilets were provided for 8 bed bunk. Geyser etc was working fine. Locker was provided with locks and keys. Good Place to stay if you just want a place to sleep at night, bachelor, solo traveller.

it was ok stay. the rooms are quite small but ok to stay. bathroom was not clean this is the main reason for giving it 3 star. price is low but other hostel droom rooms giving better service and bathroom neat clean. top view pic uploded. given the wrong location it taken 1 hr extra to reach the hotel..
