Money back guarantee is constituted and operates by the Terms, Conditions and Exclusions set forth below, which are applicable in all the sections of the present. Non conformity means that we may not cover claims partially or entirely.
General Conditions
Money back guarantee is applicable to bookings made in hotels which are part of a Segment(Preferred by Business, Preferred by Couples, Preferred by Students). This is NOT APPLICABLE on hourly booking, international bookings. In case a money back claim is raised, Goibibo customer care will first and foremost try to resolve the issue with hotel. If the issue is resolved with mutual agreement between hotel and customer, money back claim will not be valid. While raising a claim, a customer should explain the issue in a detailed manner so as to provide the best understanding of issue to Goibibo customer care. User agreement and Privacy policy at Goibibo website shall apply
Duration of Money Back Guarantee
A customer can raise claim for money back if he is not satisfied with the service and believes that promise is not fulfilled within following time frame: Post check in and during the stay. 48 hours post checkout date and time. After this time frame is over, a customer will not be eligible to raise money back claim
When is money back guarantee valid
Money back claim is valid on hotels which are part of a Segment(Preferred by Business, Preferred by Couples, Preferred by Students). A customer should have made an online booking and checked in at these hotels through Goibibo website, mobile website, android or IOS app. Money back promise is there to address concerns and will be governed by following conditions: Guaranteed working AC (Room type selected by customer should be with AC). Location (accuracy upto 300 metres). TV (In working condition but no guarantee on number of channels/language of channels, type of TV) Wi fi (availability in room, no guarantee on speed of wifi). Clean linen.
In following cases, money back claim will not be valid:
If the issue raised by guest is solved by hotel during the stay of guest. Selected cities do not have AC facility or seasonal AC facility. Here claim on no AC provided will not be valid. If wifi is available in room but speed is not good, money back claim will not be valid. Location of property is within 300 metres of location specified on website, msite and apps. In case user does not provide ample proof of the issue (At least 3 pictures related to issue covered under guarantee and description), claim will not be valid. Conditions outside control of Hotel. Goibibo will not be responsible for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation service providers to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non-performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and other unforeseeable causes beyond Goibibo’s control.
Other Terms & Conditions
All decisions with respect to the offer shall be at the discretion of GoIbibo and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. The terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in New Delhi. The maximum liability of Goibibo in the event of any claim arising out of this offer shall not exceed the amount under the underlying transaction paid by the customer and will depend on mode of payment by customer while making the booking. Goibibo shall not be liable to pay for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the offer.
