- Waiver on your cancellation will be applied automatically.

What More Do You Need to Know?
- This service is valid only on select train tickets booked on Goibibo.
- The refundable ‘Free Cancellation’ amount may change if the ticket fare or status (AVL/RAC/WL) changes before the final payment.
- The booking must be cancelled before chart preparation on train to avail free cancellation.
- You will be eligible for the complete waiver only if you cancel the ticket at least 4 hours before the scheduled train departure or before the chart is prepared (whichever is earlier).
- The waiver is valid for both full and partial cancellation in a booking.
*Only ticket fare paid at the time of booking will be refunded to the customer’s account. Goibibo Service Fee, IRCTC Convenience Fee, Payment Gateway Charges and Free Cancellation charges are non-refundable.

- Q) When does the train chart get prepared?
A) Train chart preparation time is controlled by Indian Railways. The chart is usually prepared 4 hours before departure of train from originating station. For early morning trains, the chart is usually prepared the night before.
- Q) How many hours prior to the train departure do I need to cancel my booking?
A) Customer must cancel booking at least 4 hours before the scheduled train departure or before the chart preparation (whichever is earlier), to avail full refund.
- Q) How will I receive the claim amount under ‘Free Cancellation’?
A) Refunds will be credited into your original mode of payment. The refund will be initiated automatically.
- Q) How many days does it take for the refund to be credited, once I cancel my train booking?
A) The refund amount will be credited to the original mode of payment within 7 to 14 working days, from the date of booking cancellation.
- Q) Will I get full refund if I cancel the booking?
A) In case of booking cancellation, only the ticket fare will be refunded. Other charges like Goibibo Service Fee, IRCTC Convenience Fee, Payment Gateway Charges and Free Cancellation charges are non-refundable.
- Q) My Train Ticket is waitlisted/RAC, can I avail refund under ‘Free Cancellation’?
A) Yes, you can avail refund for waitlisted or RAC tickets as well.
- Q) What will happen in case the train gets cancelled?
A) In such a case you don’t need to cancel your booking manually. IRCTC will automatically initiate a refund of ticket fare, which will be credited to the original mode of payment.
